Thrown to the Dogs: The Fallen Star’s Bloody Revenge Chapter 06

Thrown to the Dogs: The Fallen Star’s Bloody Revenge Chapter 06 They Cleared My Name, Then Lost Theirs.

When I loved Vivienne and my son with everything I had, Nolan was all they could see. For him, they had no problem destroying me until I barely looked human.

Now I’d stepped aside and given the three of them exactly what they wanted, yet they were falling apart because they thought I was dead. The whole thing made me sick.

Grandpa’s eyes had turned red the moment he saw me. His voice broke as he spoke.

“I failed your mother. You were her only son, and I still couldn’t protect you. But I swear, I’ll make every person who did this to you pay.”

I shook my head gently.

“Grandpa, this wasn’t your fault. I was the fool who trusted the wrong people.”

Grandpa still looked weighed down by guilt.

“I couldn’t protect you before, but that ends now. Whatever you decide to do from here on out, I’ll stand behind you. And I’ve already sent people to look into what you asked about. Give me half an hour, and you’ll have everything.”

I nodded. Not one person who had hurt me was getting away with it…

Once we got home, Grandpa brought in a top dermatology team and arranged the best scar treatments money could buy.

Every treatment hurt like hell. There were times I thought I couldn’t take another second of it, but I endured. Compared with what I’d suffered that night, this pain was nothing.

A month later, after more than 100 million dollars in treatments and countless exclusive regenerative serums, my face had finally healed. Somehow, my skin looked even smoother and more flawless than it had before.

During that month, news of my supposed suicide had spread everywhere. Some people pitied me. Others said I’d gotten exactly what I deserved.

Vivienne and my son finally stepped forward to clear my name.

“Everything being said about Julian before was false. He’s a kind man. He was never difficult on set, he never abused us, and he certainly never slept his way into a role. Everyone knows how talented he is. He never needed to do anything like that.”

They were the ones who had planted those lies in the first place. Now they were standing in front of the cameras taking them all back.

Even Nolan showed up to vouch for me.

“Julian and I worked in the same industry for years. I never once saw him mistreat anyone on set. Someone clearly framed him with those stories. He’s gone now, so I hope everyone can finally let this matter rest.”

At the end of the press conference, Vivienne and my son offered a 10–million–dollar reward to anyone who could find my body or provide any reliable information about where I might be.

Nolan even dabbed at his eyes, putting on a show of grief.

“Julian gave me my start. When I first entered this industry, he looked out for me and opened doors for me. I’ll never forget what he did for me. So if anyone finds him–or even finds his body–please contact us.”

Their performance had everyone in the room moved.

But I was the only one who knew it was all an act. There was no way I was going to let them have the ending they wanted.

Vivienne had barely finished speaking.

A reporter suddenly called out from the crowd.

“Ms. Mercer, you keep telling everyone how much you loved Mr. Mercer and how devastated you are to lose him. So how do you explain being pregnant with another man’s baby? Doesn’t cheating on your husband make this grieving–wife act a little hard to believe?”

At the same moment, an ultrasound report appeared on the massive screen behind them, followed by an audio recording.

“Vivienne, we’re finally having a baby of our own. But what if Julian gets angry when he finds out?”

“Why should he be angry? I’m the one carrying the baby, not him. I gave that man years of my life. All I want now is to give you a child of your own. He can deal with it.”

“Besides, my son already loves the idea of having a little brother. Julian will have to accept it for his sake. And if he won’t, I’ll have my son cut ties with him.”

Everyone knew those voices. They belonged to Vivienne and Nolan.

And both their names were right there on the ultrasound report.

The room erupted. Reporters immediately crowded around Vivienne and Nolan, firing questions from every direction.

“Is this really true? Ms. Mercer, I thought you were devoted to your husband. Turns out you were seeing another man behind his back?”

“Ms. Mercer, when exactly did you and Nolan Prescott get involved? You’re even pregnant with his child. So you were openly cheating on your husband?”

“Mr. Prescott, you knew Ms. Mercer was married. Why did you pursue her anyway? You knowingly became the other man. That’s a disgrace to everyone in this industry.”

Some reporters even turned their questions on my son.

“Did you know your mother was pregnant? If you knew, why didn’t you try to stop her?”

“Had your parents‘ marriage already fallen apart?”
