The Wolf Princess’s Seven Promised Mates Chapter 11

The Wolf Princess’s Seven Promised Mates Chapter 11

“That fool Aurora must think I’m head over heels for her. The truth is, I didn’t jump off that building to confess my love. I did it purely to scare her off…”

Silas’s mocking, disdainful voice flowed clearly from the recorder.

The entire venue fell into dead, stunned silence in an instant.

All the feigned tenderness and sincere devotion on Silas’s face crumbled completely.

He stood frozen on the spot, blood draining from his cheeks, looking utterly defeated and

embarrassed.

“No one is spreading rumors.” I spoke calmly, my cold voice piercing the awkward silence. “These

are your own exact words.”

“So drop this fake lovesick act in front of me. It’s repulsive to watch.”

“Aurora, you’ve misunderstood me…” Silas’s eyes reddened subtly, his voice trembling weakly as

he tried to defend himself.

“It’s not what you think, I just…”

Before he could finish his futile excuse, Asher stepped forward abruptly and threw a heavy punch straight at Silas’s face.

“No one dares call my fiancée a fool in front of me.” Asher’s domineering voice rang out, powerful

and unshakable.

“And I am the only person in this world who truly loves Aurora.”

The word fiancée made Damian’s brows clamp down tightly, raging jealousy flashing in his deep

eyes.

“Aurora, stop being childish and reckless.” Damian stared at me intently, his tone urgent and stubborn. “The one you truly want to marry is me, isn’t it?”

“I’m willing to marry you, to obey the Alpha King’s rules, to spoil you and love you endlessly, standing second only to you in this entire kingdom.”

“Asher Knight is a vampire. The Moon Goddess will never bless your cross-species union!”

I was almost amused to the point of laughter by his shameless words, hot tears stinging the corners

of my eyes as overwhelming sorrow and anger surged in my chest.

“Damian, if the Moon Goddess refuses to bless my bond with Asher, do you think she will bless mine with you? Do you honestly believe I still want to marry you after everything you’ve done?”

I glanced sharply at the dark projector screen behind the stage, thick hatred swirling in my

reddened eyes.

“You publicly leaked my private photos and videos to humiliate me in front of every elite in the

country, and you still have the audacity to say you want to marry me?”

A faint tremor ran through Damian’s heart, confusion flickering across his handsome face. “Aurora, what are you talking about? I don’t understand a word of this.”

“Stop pretending!” My voice cracked, broken by suppressed rage and heartache. “Did you leak those photos and videos, or not?!”

The always cold and impassive Damian widened his eyes completely, staring at me with utter

disbelief and a trace of hidden hurt.

“Aurora… you think I was the one who did this?”

“Who else could it be?” I gritted my teeth bitterly, every word laced with pain.

“Those photos were secretly taken in my private chamber. You’re the only one who can easily unlock my fully bolted bedroom door.”

“That video was captured by palace surveillance cameras, and you’re a top-tier hacker. Tampering with the palace monitoring system to spy on me is child’s play for you.”

I bit my lower lip hard until it bled, the pain nowhere near enough to numb the agony in my heart.

“Don’t pretend anymore! I know it’s you! You did this just to get revenge on me, all because I slapped Selina this morning!”

“We’ve grown up side by side for years. Even if you’ve never loved me, after all these years of companionship, how could you treat me so cruelly? Do you even have a heart?!”

Overwhelmed by grief and rage, I raised my hand and slapped Damian hard across his cold, flawless

cheek.

A crisp, loud slap echoed through the entire silent ballroom.

A bright red palm print slowly bloomed on Damian’s fair skin, striking and obvious.

My father was enraged beyond measure. He strode shakily toward Damian, his voice trembling with anger and disappointment.

“Damian, tell me the truth! Did you release those private photos and videos to humiliate my daughter?!”

For years, my father had raised Damian like his own son, trusting him completely and appreciating his outstanding talent. He refused to believe Damian would betray their trust and hurt me so viciously, clinging to a final sliver of hope for a denial.

Facing my father’s furious interrogation, Damian stood tall and calm, neither humble nor defensive, and answered firmly without hesitation.

“I did not do it.”
