The Wolf Princess’s Seven Promised Mates Chapter 10

The Wolf Princess’s Seven Promised Mates Chapter 10

All because I’d called Selina a shameless hussy, he’d exposed my private photos and leaked my

intimate video to the entire banquet crowd, just to turn me into the disgraceful one in everyone’s eyes?

Damian, how could you be this cruel?

“Who released this video? Turn it off! Shut it down at once!” My father flew into a towering rage. He rushed toward the control panel, desperate to stop the playback, yet the corrupted system refused

to shut down no matter how hard he tried.

In the end, it was Asher who strode forward without hesitation, smashing the projector completely.

The giant screen finally went dark, cutting off the humiliating footage.

“Who did this?! Who is behind this vicious scheme?!” My father trembled with fury, his voice

echoing across the dead-silent ballroom. “Lock all palace gates! No guest leaves this venue until

the culprit is found!”.

“Your Majesty, please calm your anger.” An elder tribal Alpha stepped up to mediate, his tone

placating.

“Aurora and Damian are bound to be mated soon. This private footage is merely trivial lovers’ folly,

not worth making a fuss over.”

“Exactly. We all understand young couples’ trivial intimacies.” Other nobles chimed in one after

another, trying to defuse the tense atmosphere.

But my father’s face remained livid and grim. Only he knew the truth-my designated future mate had long been changed.

Amidst the heavy, stifling silence, my father lifted his head and shot a meaningful glance at Asher,

his gaze grave and expectant.

This was the moment to test whether his new prospective son-in-law could stand firm and protect

Catching his unspoken cue instantly, Asher stepped forward resolutely.

He pulled me firmly into his protective arms, shielding me from every probing, mocking gaze in the crowd, then declared in a deep, powerful voice that swept across the entire ballroom, “The man Aurora will marry is me.”

“I will never spare anyone who dares harm her. Whoever secretly took and leaked her private photos and videos will pay a price worse than death. I will make their lives a living torment, with no way to live or die!”

The second his words fell, every guest in the hall froze in shock.

Most stunned of all were Damian and the six other promised mates, their faces turning ashen pale

in an instant.

Aurora had actually chosen a vampire?

A cold, dark-blooded vampire, instead of one of them-the wolf Alphas who had stood by her side for years?

Damian’s expression turned icy, his brows tightly furrowed.

“Aurora, are you being reckless?”

“Is this all because I gave the Tear of the Ocean to Selina instead of you? Are you throwing this tantrum on purpose just to spite me?”

Silas also stared at me, his eyes filled with unconvinced hurt and feigned tenderness. “Aurora, why

choose Asher?”

“If you’re only angry at Damian, you can choose me instead. I’d gladly let you use me to get back at him, no complaints at all.”

His affectionate, devoted expression stirred widespread sympathy among the nobles present.

“Silas truly loves Aurora to the point of madness. I heard he even jumped off a building for her

once.”

“How pitiful. He’s loved her so sincerely for years, but she’s never spared him a glance.”

“If a man loved me this deeply, I would never hesitate to choose him.”

The entire crowd sighed for Silas, pitying his so-called unrequited love and misplaced sincerity.

Listening to their endless sympathetic murmurs, I couldn’t help but laugh softly.

I tilted my head to meet Silas’s infatuated gaze and asked plainly, “Silas, do you really love me that

much?”

“Of course.” Silas answered without a moment’s hesitation, his voice fervent and sincere. “Aurora,

I love you. I’d do anything for you-I’d even die for you.”

A mocking smile tugged at my lips.

“You love me that deeply? But I heard you jumped off that building not to confess your love, but to scare me off for good.”

Silas’s face drained of all color in an instant, panic flashing wildly in his eyes.

“Who told you that? Was it Zane? He’s lying, spreading baseless rumors!”

“I swear to the Moon Goddess, every word of my love for you is true. No one in this world loves you

more than I do!”

His acting was flawless, vivid and earnest enough to fool everyone present. For a split second, ev a fool would believe his pretense.

But I knew the truth. I had heard his true thoughts with my own ears.

Tired of his disgusting performance, I pulled a voice recorder out of my pocket and pressed the play

button without further delay.
