The Rebirth Of A PTSD And Betrayed Luna Chapter 03

[Hannah’s POV]

The Gamma’s eyes lit up the second he mentioned Wanda. “Our Luna’s absolutely incredible—she’s the only she-wolf who can remotely coordinate border combat operations!”

He pulled up archived battle footage on his screen to show me. Wanda’s name sat front and center as Commanding Officer across every file.

“Look at these victories she led us to. The whole pack’s endlessly proud of her.”

Familiar scenes played out across the monitor. Every patrol snapshot, every combat log entry—all earned at the cost of my own life, out on the border.

They’d edited every frame featuring me out entirely, dubbing Wanda’s voice over all my original narration.

My name had been erased from every single military accolade. And the signature approving all those medals belonged to Alpha Donald.

He was the only one who knew my laptop’s password.

I closed the video file and turned to find Donald, ready to demand answers.

A semi-truck’s horn blared deafeningly right behind me. A sharp, searing pain flared behind my eyes. The phantom roar of explosions and howling wolves crashed over my senses again.

I clamped my hands over my ears, my control slipping. My car swerved and slammed straight into the roadside guardrail.

Donald arrived minutes later, his face hard with frustration. He’d been ready to scold me, but the second he saw my ashen, pain-stricken face, he pulled me tight into his chest. “It’s alright, Hannah. I’m here…”

His embrace still carried that same familiar warmth—the kind that made me want to sink in and never let go.

I shoved him away violently, hot tears streaming down my cheeks nonstop. “Donald, why did you hand all my life-or-death accomplishments over to Wanda?”

“You watched me risk my life countless times to keep the border clans safe. You knew how much every single one of those victories meant to me…”

I’d led my patrols to forge an impenetrable barrier, shielding border dwellers from rogue wolf raids.

Rogue packs had swarmed my unit; artillery blasts had thrown me through the air. I’d faced near-certain death more times than I could count.

Every combat report documented battles I’d survived through sheer grit.

Donald lifted a hand to brush the tears off my cheeks, slow and gentle. “Everyone believed you were dead after your disappearance, Hannah. I let Wanda finish writing your unfinished combat reports. What harm is there in that?”

I slapped his hand away. “What about the bylines? Why was my name scrubbed completely? Why does every record credit Wanda for all my work?”

“Because you were presumed dead.” Donald’s voice turned ice-cold. “Wanda needed official military merit to earn the Ironclaw Pack’s full respect—only then could I formally name her our Luna.”

I stared at him, barely recognizing the man I’d once loved more than anything.

The old Donald would never let me suffer a single slight, never make me shed a single tear. Yet only days after my return, I’d cried more than I had in my entire life combined.

Donald guided me firmly into his vehicle and drove me to the new residence he’d set aside for me. Before he left, he tossed a bank card onto the coffee table. “Stay here and rest quietly. I’ll make this right somehow, I promise.”

“Wanda’s reputation as Luna can’t take damage—don’t stir up trouble for her. Your parents feel the same way.”

I sank onto the empty living room couch and laughed bitterly.

They’d colluded to strip me of every title, every achievement, every place I belonged—all because I’d refused to stay docile and obedient.

I powered on my laptop, logged into my cloud storage, and pulled up the unedited raw combat footage and original written logs. Every clip held my uncut footage, my unaltered voice recordings, my handwritten drafts.

I edited all the files together, added a detailed written breakdown explaining the full truth, and posted the compilation to every major pack social platform.

Exhausted, I collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep instantly.

Dawn broke to a firestorm of online backlash. My phone blew up with nonstop notifications—thousands of private messages, tens of thousands of comments, the video racking up hundreds of thousands of shares overnight.

Outrage flooded Wanda’s comment sections, and the Ironclaw Pack’s official social pages were buried under critical questions.

“Wait a second—our Luna Wanda stole every single combat achievement from her supposed best friend?”

“That’s unforgivable, climbing the ranks by stealing everything Hannah earned.”

“My heart breaks for Hannah…”
