The Mafia Real Daughter’s Revenge Chapter 06

The Mafia Real Daughter’s Revenge Chapter 06

[Nathan’s POV]

As the calls for a retest grew louder, Rachel’s face became paler and paler.

She kept glancing toward the waiting Rolls-Royce as though calculating her escape.

Then someone in the crowd suddenly shouted, “The Vice President is here!”

The noise died instantly.

Students parted to either side, creating a path through the center.

Everyone knew who he was.

For over a decade, he’d personally overseen the development of some of the most successful heirs ever produced by Sicilian Academy.

Rumor had it he often contacted prospective students long before admission decisions were announced, and once an acceptance was finalized, confidentiality was treated as an absolute

priority.

The Vice President’s cold gaze swept across the crowd before settling on Rachel.

To my surprise, he didn’t expose her.

Instead, he placed a past entrance examination on the table.

“Miss Moretti.”

His voice was calm.

“If you can earn a perfect score on this paper today, Sicilian Academy’s doors will remain open to

you.”

Then he turned to Lucius and Maria.

“Mr. and Mrs. Moretti, please wait outside.”

His expression never changed.

“You should have confidence in your heir, shouldn’t you?”

Their faces darkened immediately.

Rachel looked around desperately for help, but her parents were already being escorted away.

As for me?

I had bigger problems.

Federal investigators were probably digging through Vito family records as we spoke.

Rachel’s mess was the last thing on my mind.

Left alone, she could only pick up the pen with trembling fingers and stare at the exam paper.

For any heir raised in a major mafia family, the questions were straightforward.

For someone who had spent years pretending, they might as well have been written in another language.

Ten minutes passed.

Rachel hadn’t written a single answer.

Thirty minutes later, she’d managed to write her name.

Two hours later, the examination ended.

Her clothes were soaked with sweat.

The Vice President picked up the paper and began grading it.

The room fell silent as the Vice President graded the paper. When he finally looked up, his verdict

was simple.

“Thirty-five.”

Rachel’s legs gave out beneath her. She collapsed to her knees.

The room exploded.

“Oh my God.”

One of the students laughed in disbelief.

“Rachel, you’ve got some nerve.”

“You could’ve faked anything. Why fake admission to Sicilian Academy?”

Another voice chimed in.

“She’s an idiot.”

“I heard she has an older sister.”

“The sister’s the real talent.”

The insults came from every direction.

Rachel sat frozen as the crowd buried her beneath ridicule.

Eventually, Lucius stepped forward.

“That’s enough. This is our fault as parents.”

He looked at the Vice President.

“We apologize for today’s disturbance.”

Then he turned to Rachel.

“We’re leaving.”

The three of them started toward the exit.

“Wait.”

The Vice President’s voice echoed through the hall.

Lucius spun around, irritation flashing across his face.

“What more do you want?”

He was barely holding his temper together.

“Hasn’t the Moretti family been humiliated enough for one day?”

Without responding, the Vice President pulled a document from his briefcase.

A DNA report.

“Mr. Moretti. You keep insisting that Rachel is your biological daughter.”

He paused.

“But have you ever stopped to think about your other daughter?”

“The one who was talented, hardworking, and exceptional in every way?”

The color drained from Lucius’s face.

Maria froze.

Neither of them moved.

“What exactly are you trying to say?”

The Vice President looked down at the report.

“The DNA match between Lucius Moretti and Rachel Moretti is zero percent.”

“The match between Lucius Moretti and Nora Moretti exceeds ninety-nine point nine nine nine

percent.”
