The Don’s Reborn Lover Chapter 09

I slipped out through the back door of the bar and 

hurried after Adrian. 

“Adrian, don’t go home. Sebastian hired people. 

They’re waiting to jump you.” 

Adrian took after his mother. 

He had a beautiful face. 

With his broad shoulders, narrow waist, long legs, and all–black clothes, he stood out no matter where he was. 

The night was beautiful. 

The whiskey had left his gaze a little unfocused. 

But whenever he looked at me, there was always heat in 

his eyes. 

He never tried to hide his desire. 

One second Adrian was still walking, and the next, he pitched toward me. 

“Are you drunk?” I caught him at once, and he fell right into my arms. 

“Yeah. I’m drunk.” He was so tall it took real effort just 

to half hold him up. 

“Why did you drink that bottle?” 

“If I didn’t, Sebastian would’ve kept going. I didn’t 

want him ruining your birthday.” 

“Then where’s my birthday present?” 

Adrian rested his chin on my shoulder, his breath brushing against my sensitive ear. 

“You don’t lack material things. I can’t give you anything better than what you already have.” 

“I put together a full SAT review guide for you based on the official prep book and my own notes. I emailed it to you along with a mistake log.” 

I smiled. 

Honestly, for me as I was now, that was the most useful gift he could have given me. I’d been out of high school for years. Most of that stuff was long gone from my 

head. 

“Thanks, genius, for passing down your sacred 

knowledge.” 

Adrian patted the back of my head. 

I could tell he was in a low mood. 

“Later… I’ll give you something better.” 

I rented Adrian a room. 

The alcohol was hitting him harder now, and he could 

barely walk. 

I had no choice but to help him inside, only for him to drag me down onto the bed with him. 

I landed sprawled on top of him. 

He got hard. 

He really was a ridiculously hormonal teenage boy. 

“Don’t move. Don’t move.” 

“Okay.” 

I froze. 

Adrian tipped his head back to breathe, his throat 

bobbing twice, his skin flushed from the collarbones 

down. 

He was burning up. 

Strangely enough, he fell asleep almost right away, still holding onto my left wrist. 

I tried to pry his fingers off me, but no matter what I did, they would not budge. 

Maybe it was because I had only just been reborn, but I got sleepy so easily. 

I set an alarm on my phone and figured I would nap for an hour before leaving. 

When I opened my eyes again, Adrian was already 

awake. 

He was sitting against the headboard, and it looked like he had been watching me for who knew how long. 

There was no trace of drunkenness left in him. 

That look in his eyes brought me right back to the day I 

had been drugged. 

Suddenly he leaned over me, pinned me beneath him, and traced my lips with those long fingers of his. 

“Do you know what it means when a girl brings a guy 

to a motel?” 

I only wanted to run. 

“I’m going home.” 

Then all at once, I felt a warm rush between my legs. 

My period had started. 

The flow on the first day was always heavy. 

When I sat up and looked, there was a bloodstain on the 

white sheet, about two inches across. 

We were two teenagers alone in a motel room, and now there was a bloodstain on the bed. 

If a third person saw that, there would be no explaining 

it away. 

I ordered tampons and underwear for delivery, then 

forced myself to say, “I’ll leave in a little while.” 

Adrian made an awkward sound of agreement, and a 

suspicious flush spread across his face. 

I picked at the plush keychain hanging from my bag, desperate to say something, anything. 

“Did you finish your homework?” 

“Yeah.” 

“There’s a physics problem I can’t solve. Can you walk me through it?” 

“Sure.” 

So the two of us sat on that big motel bed and had an entirely innocent study session. 

His method was simple and clear, and his handwriting was beautiful too. 

Adrian was the kind of person with a terrifyingly high IQ, the kind who could succeed at anything. 

“Got it now?” 

“Yeah.” 

I had never been so eager to study in my life, but I still asked him to explain a hard math problem next. 

I was so embarrassed my toes were practically curling 

into the mattress. 

The corner of Adrian’s mouth tipped up. 

He was trying not to laugh. 

He had definitely noticed how nervous I was.
