The Don’s Reborn Lover Chapter 01

The Don’s Reborn Lover Chapter 01

My brother bullied Adrian Cross, beat him so badly he lost his hearing, and got his mother killed.

Ten years later, that straight-A kid from the projects became the most feared Mafia don on the North Shore. He took everything from my brother and locked me up on his estate as his sex slave. He was horny damn near every day, and every night I fell asleep smelling like him.

My brother took me and ran south.

I thought I was finally free.

But he imprisoned me, abused me, and starved me.

He sent videos of himself abusing me to Adrian and demanded three billion dollars.

The second my brother got the money, he turned around and handed me over to a group of street vagrants.

I was brutalized to death.

The man I avoided like the plague finally snapped. He killed everyone who had hurt me and cut off my brother’s head.

Covered in blood, he gathered my corpse into his arms and cried, “Don’t be scared. I’m here to take you home.”

When I opened my eyes again, I was back at eighteen.

This time, I was going to get revenge.

And I was going to save him too.

The moment I realized I’d been reborn, the first thing I did was go find Adrian.

When I got there, I saw Sebastian and his boys bullying him.

Sebastian was my fraternal twin brother.

In front of teachers and parents, he was the perfect golden boy. He was vice president of the student council, a regular on the honor roll, and the most polished young gentleman at every charity gala.

Underneath all that, he was a vicious, jealousy-rotted monster.

He bullied Adrian for one reason only: as long as Adrian existed, Sebastian would always come in second.

With a baseball bat in hand, Sebastian smashed up Adrian’s family diner, grinning like he owned the world.

“I told you to get the hell out of Fairmont Academy and off the North Shore. Did you think I was fucking around?”

What Sebastian didn’t know then was that the broke kid he had under his boot would become the man who ruled the North Shore mob ten years later, strip Sebastian of everything, and lock me away on his estate as his private possession.

Adrian’s mother was mute, and she wasn’t mentally well.

Terrified, she shrank into a corner and trembled as she cried.

“Look at this bitch. She doesn’t even have a tongue anymore.” Sebastian bared his teeth in a grin. His voice wasn’t loud, but every word cut like a knife. “Bet she spread her legs for some mob boss and got her tongue cut out to teach her a lesson. Then she popped out this little bastard. The two of them are trash.”

Adrian, who had been holding himself back the whole time, suddenly lunged like a wild animal. He tackled Sebastian to the ground and started punching him in the face over and over.

Sebastian had a black belt in taekwondo. Usually he was the one beating other people senseless, but now Adrian was pounding him so hard he could barely fight back.

There was something savage pouring off Adrian, something vicious and lethal. He looked like the kind of person who had already killed before.

“What the fuck are you idiots standing there for? Get him off me!”

Sebastian’s boys were so intimidated by Adrian’s sheer presence that not one of them dared step in.

Only when blood started trickling from the corner of Sebastian’s mouth did Adrian finally let him go.

“Get out of my store.”

Then Adrian walked over to comfort his mother, who was crying like a child. His voice turned gentle and patient.

He never noticed that behind him, Sebastian was staggering back to his feet. He picked up the baseball bat again, malice dripping from his eyes, and swung it straight at the back of Adrian’s head.

“Behind you!”

I screamed at the top of my lungs.

Adrian reacted at once and caught the bat in one hand.

My heart pounded so hard it felt like it would explode.

In my last life, Sebastian had smashed Adrian in the head with that bat and left him deaf in both ears.

Thank God.

Thank God I stopped it this time.

Adrian ripped the bat from Sebastian’s hands. His eyes were bloodshot with fury as he raised it to swing back.

I ran forward, threw my arms wide, and put myself in front of Sebastian.

“Adrian Cross, stop!”
