The Alpha Written in Her Diary Chapter 06

The Alpha Written in Her Diary Chapter 06

“That stupid poor Omega had the nerve to reject me because of Noah.”

A burst of laughter followed.

“So I used Noah’s name to lure her here, and the idiot walked right into it.”

“I didn’t expect her to be so stubborn. She actually jumped off the roof.”

“What a waste. Otherwise, we could’ve had a lot more fun with her.”

The world suddenly falls silent.

I freeze where I stand.

It feels as though every drop of blood in my body is flowing backward.

Through the glass panel on the door, I can clearly see the speaker.

Chris stands there with a cigarette between the fingers of his left hand while lazily swirling a glass of liquor in his right.

The light flickers across his glasses.

The straight-A student who is always quiet, gentle, and considerate now looks like a demon who has finally peeled away his human skin.

It wasn’t Noah. It was Chris.

Chris Mayer killed Vicky.

And he was her fated mate, for God’s sake! How could he do that?

For a brief moment, when I heard his voice, I foolishly thought he might be my mate.

How pathetic I was.

My mind feels like it’s about to explode.

Numb, I force my legs to carry me toward Noah’s room.

When I push open the door, Noah stands in the center, holding a white rose.

The usual arrogance is gone from his face. In its place are nervousness and anticipation.

The moment he sees me, his eyes light up, “Mate!”

“Hayley, you’re my mate!”

“Did you ever invite Vicky here?”

Ignoring the excited voice of my wolf, I cut him off.

“What? Vicky Gallant?”

Noah’s expression instantly turns to confusion, “I’ve NEVER invited her here.”

The bewilderment in his eyes is too genuine to fake.

That’s enough.

More than enough.

The man my sister had prayed would become her mate… is my mate instead.

And my sister was driven to her death by her own mate.

I shove Noah aside and run out of the room.

That same night, Edmund orders his Beta to compile every piece of information they can find on

Chris.

“Chris Mayer’s real name is Chris Dillon.”

“He’s the Alpha Ben Dillon’s illegitimate son, Noah Dillon’s older brother by two months.’

“His mother was a maid in the Fullmoon Pack. She died ten years ago.’

“Alpha Ben has been secretly supporting him with monthly payments, but he’s never acknowledged Chris as an heir in public.”

Edmund pauses before continuing.

“What’s interesting is that Chris has been involved in part of the Fullmoon Pack’s underground

business since he was thirteen.”

“Noah has no idea this brother even exists. He still believes he’s the only heir to the pack.”

My grip tightens around my phone. My entire body feels ice cold.

Images keep flashing before my eyes.

Vicky spinning happily in her new dress.

Vicky lying motionless in a pool of blood.

Again

And again.

Edmund gets me a three-day leave from school.

The person lying on the floor gradually stops screaming.

His cries become weak and barely audible. Only then does Edmund grab my wrist and stop the iron

bat from swinging again.

“Hayley, if you keep going, you’ll kill him.”

Everyone who had been in that room with Chris has been brought here.

Under the relentless blows of my iron bat, they break down one after another.

Crying. Begging. Confessing every detail of what happened to Vicky that night.

Chris discovered that Vicky was his fated mate.

Certain that she would accept him, he confessed the truth to her.

Instead, she frowned and quietly rejected him.

“I’m sorry. The one I love is Noah.”

“I, Vicky Gallant, reject you, Chris Maye, to be my mate.”

“You like him because he’s an Alpha, an heir, don’t you? If you knew who I really was, you’d regret

rejecting me.”

“I don’t care who you and Noah are, I like Noah because he helped me.”

Humiliated, Chris finally lets his twisted darkness consume him.

He uses Noah’s name to lure Vicky to Neon Dusk.

Not only to satisfy his own sick desires, but also as revenge against the legitimate son he has always

/envied.

Chris and the group of friends who help him run the pack’s underground business torment Vicky

over and over again.

After drinking themselves into a frenzy and finally growing bored, they throw her, half-dressed, outside the gates of the school.

“Look, our school darling got dumped by her sugar daddy.”

“She always acts so innocent. Who knew she was this wild behind everyone’s back?”

The next morning, students gather around her.

No one shows her any kindness.

They point. They laugh. They whisper.

Vicky sits alone on the cold floor, hugging her knees while every cruel word cuts into her like a

knife.

After a long time, she slowly stands.

Enduring the pain throughout her body, she walks step by step toward the rooftop of the school

building.

The wind is fierce. It whips her skirt wildly around her.

She stretches out her arms. Like a bird with broken wings, she falls into the empty air.

“Hayley, once I get into the Warrior Program in Lunaris, I’ll finally get to see you again.”

“Promise you’ll wait for me.”

There’s a reason Vicky asked me to wait for her.

My father hates my mother.

After they sever their mate bond, he never allows Vicky to see either of us again.

Vicky works so hard to earn a place in the Warrior Program in Lunaris.

She wants to escape Trevor’s control. She wants to reunite with Mom and me.

But Vicky…

No matter how long I wait, you’ll never come home and come back to me.
