The Alpha Written in Her Diary Chapter 02

The Alpha Written in Her Diary Chapter 02

A bucket of foul-smelling dirty water was dumped over my head.

Emily’s followers forced me to my knees while she slapped me hard across the face.

“Who gave you permission to flirt with Noah? You pathetic gold-digging fox.”

I looked up, tears welling in my eyes.

“I wasn’t flirting with him. I transferred here from a small pack. I’d never dare have feelings for Alpha Noah.”

Emily looked me up and down with disdain.

“That’s true. You’re just an Omega from some tiny pack. You’ll never catch Alpha Noah’s attention.”

“Don’t end up like Vicky, thinking a pretty face is enough to climb above your station.”

After throwing out a few more threats, they finally left.

I reached into the corner where I had hidden a small camera.

It had been recording the entire time. The whole incident was captured perfectly.

The only thing that irritated me now was the disgusting smell of the filthy water soaking my clothes.

Ever since I moved to Lunaris, home of the Alpha King and the Royal Pack, I have never been reduced to such a miserable state. In fact, after living there for so long, I have picked up a few spoiled habits worthy of a noble lady.

“Your clothes are completely soaked. Wear my jacket for now.”

A soft jacket settled gently over my shoulders, carrying a faint scent of vanilla.

I looked up.

The boy standing before me was nearly six feet tall.

Even while speaking to me, he deliberately kept his eyes away from my soaked clothes.

But the movement of his throat and the faint blush spreading across his ears betrayed him.

Suddenly, I felt like teasing him.

“Chris,” I asked with a smile as I stood on my tiptoes, “do I look pretty?”

Chris Mayer.

The student whose photo always occupies the top spot on the school’s Honor Board.

The straight-A student who had always ranked above Vicky.

“Y… yeah, you do.” His face instantly turned bright red. “You should put the jacket on first. Just return it to me another day.”

After blurting out those words, he practically fled.

I couldn’t help laughing.

I never expect there to be a boy at this school who actually blushes because of me.

The jacket carries a light, refreshing scent of vanilla, and somehow my mood improves with it.

The next day, during homeroom, I openly played the video.

Instead of being shocked, the entire class laughed as if they were watching something entertaining.

“It was just a joke between classmates. You weren’t actually hurt, so let’s put this matter to rest.”

Mrs. Hall spoke as casually as if she were commenting on today’s weather.

Emily crossed her arms and looked at me as though I were nothing more than a clown.

“So protecting bullies is part of this school’s culture?”

I stood tall, a cold smile spreading across my face.

“Are the teachers here nothing more than lapdogs for the children of powerful packs and families?”

The middle-aged teacher’s face turned livid with anger.

As punishment, she sentenced me to a month of after-school detention and ordered me to handwrite a thirty-thousand-word self-reflection.

Emily, on the other hand, received nothing more than a casual warning, “Don’t do it again.”

The classroom erupted in laughter.

Some were openly mocking me. Others simply watched with cold amusement.

I remained where I was.

The sunlight outside the window was warm and bright. Yet not a single ray seemed able to reach me.

Vicky… Only after becoming you do I truly understand your despair… and your pain.

After class, I lightly tapped on Noah’s desk.

“Noah, Emily only bullies me because of you. So what do you think we should do about it?”

Noah leaned back lazily in his chair.

“I’ve already helped you once. I admit you’re exactly my type.”

“But you’re too weak, too useless, and naïve enough to think a teacher would ever give you justice.”

He slowly lifted his eyes to meet mine, “Seeing you like this completely kills my interest, little Omega.”

I looked straight into his arrogant eyes.

“So to you, being poor and having low status means you’re weak. That means you deserve to be bullied and toyed with. Is that it?”

“So what if it does?” Noah shrugged with a careless smile.

Just as I expected.

He and Emily are exactly the same.

“Thanks for being honest,” I tilted my head and smiled, “But you’ve got me very interested now.”

Then I turned and walked back to my seat.

My phone chimed.

The video I had secretly uploaded during class had just been successfully sent.

Two hours later, news that an Alpha princess had been bullied after transferring to a new school swept across the entire werewolf realm.

The footage perfectly captured my helplessness as I was humiliated, along with the arrogance of my classmates and the teacher’s blatant favoritism.

That afternoon, a convoy of Rolls-Royces pulled into the school.

The entire campus was thrown into an uproar.

Among the packs, status is separated by an unbridgeable gulf.

Compared to the Royal Pack, even the most powerful packs in Rosewick are insignificant.

The Alpha King’s only heir.

My brother. Edmund Cortlandt.

Is here.
