Sold by My Mate, Claimed by Another Alpha Chapter 06

“All in! Xavier’s really going to keep bidding all the way for Emilia?”

A smile tugged at Xavier’s mouth as he stared at Cassian’s bloodshot eyes.

“Emilia? I’m going to have her no matter what.”

Cassian snapped. He lunged forward as if he were about to throw a punch at Xavier, only to be yanked back by the collar.

Then Cassian’s father, former Alpha Theodore Drake, spoke in a grave voice.

“The two of you left Clara stranded halfway there for some whore like this?”

Following Theodore’s gaze, both Cassian and Rafael froze.

Out in the line of cars parked by the road, Clara was staring back at them with a face red from crying.

Cassian looked away, guilt flashing across his face.

“But Father, Emilia was supposed to be my Luna. I can’t just stand by and watch her fall into a place like this.”

“No matter what happens today, I’m taking her with me.”

But before this, in the name of making Clara happy, Cassian and Rafael had already handed everything they had over to her, including their money and their shares.

Now they were flat broke.

No matter how they pleaded, Theodore was determined to drag them away, and he refused to put up a single dollar.

Under Xavier’s mocking stare and the laughter of the surrounding crowd, Cassian and Rafael finally lost.

As they were forced back into the ceremony car, they left me with only one sentence.

“Emilia, wait for us. We’ll come back for you.”

The convoy slowly started moving again.

Inside one of the cars, Clara sat there with smug satisfaction, as if she were silently saying, “Emilia, you’ll never beat me.”

Their little farce ended there, and I was still sold to Xavier for three million dollars.

I became his for the night.

The second I was carried back to the room, five or six girls crowded around me to wash me and fix me up.

The gauzy dress from the stage was stripped off, only to be replaced with the little white dress Xavier liked.

Their hands never stopped moving, and neither did their mouths. They kept giving me a running update on how spectacular Clara’s Mate Ceremony was turning out to be.

“I can’t believe Alpha Rafael and Alpha Cassian are both that handsome. Clara really is something, getting two men like that to lower themselves for an open Mate Ceremony.”

“No kidding. Unlike some people. Crippled leg and still ending up here doing the same kind of work we do. Guess that’s just life…”

Before long, every eye in the room had turned to me.

“Wait, isn’t she Ashenfang Pack’s Alpha heiress? Cassian’s former intended mate? How did she end up getting dumped here?”

“You haven’t heard? Supposedly she set her own sister up to be violated two years ago, then dosed Alpha Christian two years later. She’s a vile, vicious whore.”

“So she really volunteered for something this filthy? At least that pretty face didn’t go to waste.”

I looked at myself in the mirror.

That face that had once been beautiful was now full of exhaustion.

It was as if every sharp edge had been ground away. My eyes, once bright and alive, now drooped obediently, empty of the reckless spirit they used to carry.

The only thing I was grateful for was that Mom had passed away long ago and would never have to suffer because of me again.

The door suddenly slammed open, and the sharp voice that came with it startled every she-wolf in the room.

“Who told you to gossip behind people’s backs? You finished in here and still haven’t gotten out? You trying to take on extra clients tonight?”

Once the girls hurried out, the madam turned to me and spoke in a cold, warning tone.

“Don’t sit there dreaming they’ll come save you. Alpha Christian already made himself clear. No one is to disturb tonight.”

“Drop that idea and behave, so nobody has to make this uglier than it needs to be.”

She had barely finished speaking when footsteps sounded from outside.

The madam immediately brightened and hurried to the door.

“Alpha Xavier, right this way. Emilia’s already waiting for you.”

I had met Xavier once before, when I was twenty.

He had been obsessed with my skating. He showed up at nearly every competition.

I’d only ever treated him like any other fan, but he kept escalating.

He followed me home, stuffed anonymous love letters into my mailbox, and even tried to force Cassian to break off our bond promise.

Terrified and furious, I spent more than ten nights waiting by the mailbox before I finally caught him.

That night, young and hot-blooded, I kicked him several times and pointed straight at his face.

“Xavier, keep dreaming. I would never spend my life with a pathetic little creep like you.”

And now our positions had reversed.

Xavier grabbed the little white dress I used to wear at competitions and tore it away.

A cruel smile spread across his face as he looked at me.

“So, Emilia… how does it feel to end up in the hands of a pathetic little creep?”

My whole body shook. My eyes were red, but I didn’t dare say a word.

He threw his head back and laughed.

“Spread your legs, baby.”
