Sold by My Mate, Claimed by Another Alpha Chapter 07

His fangs scraped across the scent gland at my neck, still raw and bleeding, while his knee forced my trembling legs apart.

His fingers drove into me without warning, and the sharp pain made my toes curl.

“Fuck, you’re tight,” he growled. “I’ve barely gotten two fingers in, and you’re already crying like this.”

With that, he forced in more, then began thrusting hard and fast.

The sharp pain tangled with a sickening rush of unwanted pleasure, forcing broken whimpers from my throat.

“Useless bitch,” he spat. “You can’t even handle an Alpha.”

Suddenly, he clamped both hands around my hips and forced me down against him. With one brutal thrust, he drove all the way in, leaving no room for escape.

As if they were afraid I might run, I heard the lock turn outside the door, sealing the fate of my night.

I endured the violent pain in numb silence until morning finally came.

Xavier rolled over looking utterly satisfied, then tossed a thick stack of cash onto the bed.

He still didn’t forget to humiliate me.

“Here’s your tip. I used to think you were untouchable. Now that I’ve had you, you’re nothing special.”

He got dressed, his eyes flicking over the bruises covering my body as if he had only just remembered something.

“Oh, right. Forgot to tell you. I have HIV.”

He watched my eyes go wide and watched the tears spill from them, then laughed and walked out.

I sat there like a corpse for a long while before finally pulling some clothes around myself and climbing out of bed.

Then something hard jabbed the sole of my foot.

I bent down and found a folded note.

[Tomorrow at ten. I’ll come get you.]

I had traced that handwriting hundreds of times. Every stroke, every curve, was painfully familiar.

It was Cassian.

A laugh slipped out of me.

I didn’t know whether I was laughing at Cassian or at myself.

I laughed until I couldn’t stop, until tears ran down my face.

But Cassian, it was too late.

Everything was too late.

I stared blankly at the open window until the madam pushed the door open and came in.

The second she saw the stack of cash, her eyes lit up.

“That much? Perfect. Then tonight I’ll line up another one for you while the heat’s still on.”

There was… going to be another?

But I couldn’t drag anyone else into this.

My voice came out raw and shredded.

“He has HIV.”

The madam, who had been happily counting the money, froze.

“What did you say?”

“Alpha Xavier. The one from last night. He has HIV. He told me himself.”

I had thought that would be enough to kill the idea.

Instead, she looked at me with a strange expression, half pity and half cruelty.

“Well, that works out just fine. We have a group of wealthy patrons with the same condition. You can serve them instead.”

She pulled out my mother’s ashes and gave the urn a little shake.

“Don’t even think about running. You know what happens to this if you try.”

I thought the day would just repeat the same nightmare all over again.

Instead, at ten that morning, someone I never expected walked into my room.

It wasn’t Cassian.

It was Clara.

She lunged at me with a vicious smile, one hand clamping around my throat, fury written all over her face.

“Emilia, you really should’ve died.”

“You’re nothing but a filthy whore who’s been used by everyone, and Cassian still spent the whole night calling your name. He even wanted to come save you today?”

“How are you still haunting us after all these years?”

The madam rushed in behind her, sweating and panicked.

“Stop, stop! Alpha Christian handed this premium merchandise over to me personally. Luna, you can’t damage her!”

Without even turning around, Clara threw a suitcase at her.

It was packed full of cash.

“Can you keep your mouth shut now?”

“Of course. Of course. It’s just… what about those two Alphas?”

“They’ve already been confined. They won’t come looking for trouble.”
