Silenced Omega Chapter 29

Silenced Omega Chapter 29

Genevieve sprawled on the floor, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.

She looked up at him, her eyes wide with disbelief.

“That was for Laney,” Preston said.

Camden also took a step forward and looked down at her.

“So the person who saved me from the fire… it really was Laney?”

Only then did Genevieve seem to realize what she had just admitted. Her face went deathly pale.

She scrambled over and grabbed Camden’s pant leg.

“Camden, no. I was just angry. I didn’t mean any of it.”

“The person who saved you was me. It was really me—”

“Enough.” Camden closed his eyes. When he opened them again, his expression was resolved. “The biggest mistake of my life was believing you.”

“No, Camden, listen to me.” Genevieve was truly panicking now, sobbing so hard she could barely breathe. “I love you. I did all of this because I love you—”

“Love me?” Camden let out a short, ugly laugh. “The only person you love is yourself.”

“You destroyed Laney. And you destroyed me.”

He looked at Preston.

“She’s all yours.”

Preston nodded and clapped his hands.

Four Beta bodyguards in black suits entered the room.

Genevieve scrambled backward.

“What are you doing? Preston, Camden, I know I was wrong. I really know I was wrong. Please—”

Preston crouched down and gripped her chin.

“Do you remember what you said?”

“That when this was all over, you would have Laney’s gland cut out and throw her into the Abyss.”

His fingers brushed lightly against her neck.

The touch was gentle, but it made Genevieve tremble uncontrollably.

“Now it’s your turn.”
