She Used My Face to Catch Her Online Boyfriend, Then I Became His Chapter 04

On a call with my boyfriend, Kyle Miller, I’d heard that name before.

He was going on a team-building trip and listed off who was going.

Caleb was among them.

I didn’t catch it the first time — I thought it was a girl’s name.

He repeated it.

His roommate.

I teased him, asking to see if this guy was really that good-looking.

Just a casual joke, but Kyle got jealous and shut it down.

We’re long-distance.

We don’t see each other often, which makes him insecure.

He’s always on guard against other guys getting close to me.

Part of it is just his possessive nature.

The bigger reason?

His position wasn’t exactly honorable.

He was the other man.

When I was having problems with my ex, Kyle offered himself up.

He traveled all the way to tutor me.

We sat side by side, him leaning close, his shirt unbuttoned just enough to show his chest.

After explaining a problem, he’d prop his chin on his hand and look at me with this lazy smile, pointing at the calculus problems.

“Want to… give it a try?”

I couldn’t stop staring at his chest.

And just like that, I was tempted.

Looking back, Kyle was always cautious.

He posted about our relationship constantly but never showed my face.

On video calls, he kept the camera carefully angled.

If Kyle ever found out that “I” was dating Caleb, he’d lose his mind.

I was beyond done with Janice.

I said it again, dead serious.

“Apologize. Explain everything to your boyfriend. Or I’m going to our advisor.”

The other roommates backed me up.

Janice looked furious but helpless.

“Fine, I’m sorry. Happy?”

“Got it.”

To make sure she kept her word, I did a surprise check the next day.

She proudly pulled out a screenshot.

She’d confessed everything to Caleb.

He was very understanding — said he liked her for who she was inside, not how she looked, and appreciated her honesty.

They didn’t fight.

They actually got closer.

Pink hearts floated across the comments.

[So sweet.]

[I love this gentle male lead. Our girl is living the dream, lol.]
