She Tried to Ruin My Future and I Ruined Her First Chapter 08

When the final bell rang for the last exam, I set down my pen and closed the booklet with a quiet sense of 

satisfaction. 

After what had happened that morning, I had switched hotels so nothing would interfere with the rest of my 

exams. 

I never went back, and I never bothered to ask how they 

had cleaned up the mess. 

I expected peace. Instead, I walked out of the gates and straight into an ambush. 

At the front of the crowd were Lila and Evan. 

Behind them stood dozens of classmates and parents, 

all glaring at me like they wanted to tear me apart. 

The second Lila saw me, her eyes turned red. 

“Sienna, I get it. You hate me. You don’t like me. Fine. 

But why did you switch my pouch? Why did you make 

everyone late for the exam? Why would you do something this vicious?” 

For a second, her accusation almost threw me. 

Then a whole pack of parents surged forward. 

“So you’re Sienna Hart? Do you have any idea how 

cruel this was? My son got in twenty minutes late 

because of the pass mess, and he didn’t even finish the 

essay section.” 

“My daughter completely fell apart over this and bombed the test. You owe us an explanation.” 

“That’s right. We’re here for answers. Call your parents. If compensation needs to be paid, it’ll be paid. If someone needs to be charged, then so be it.” 

I understood immediately what had happened. 

Lila had dumped the entire disaster on me. 

I looked at the crowd coldly and let a mocking smile tug 

at my lips. 

“You’re all saying I switched Lila’s pouch on purpose and made everyone late. Fine. Where’s your proof?” 

The crowd’s attention shifted to Lila. 

She looked like she had expected that question and already had an answer prepared. 

“You came to my room that morning. I had the bag on the table, and after you left, it was gone. You wanted to ruin me, but you ruined everyone instead.” 

I could not help laughing under my breath. 

Yes, I had gone to find her that morning. 

But I had never stepped inside her room. I had only stopped at the door to ask for my pass, and she had refused to give it to me. 

Still, none of these parents wanted the truth. They just wanted someone to take the fall. 

One mother snarled, “I don’t care about your excuses! Get your parents on the phone. Now!” 

I looked around. 

There was not a single face in that crowd that did not hate me. 

So I smiled and said clearly, “You want an explanation? Great. I already called the police.” 

Lila’s crying stopped dead. A flash of panic crossed her face. “Sienna, you… you called the police? Why would you do that? This is between classmates. Did you really have to take it that far?” 

“The police should absolutely be involved.” 

The one who said it was Evan. 

The way he looked at me then was full of bitterness and 

blame. 

“Sienna, I never thought you hated me this much. Switching everyone’s passes wasn’t enough for you? 

You even stole mine and made me miss an entire day of 

the exam.” 

The more he spoke, the more confused I got. 

But the anger in his eyes did not look fake. 

Still, the truth was simple. I wasn’t the one who had 

destroyed his future. And I couldn’t wait for him to find 

out who was.
