My Husband’s Mistress Fed Me Bugs Chapter 12

Orion grabbed Chiara and scrambled for the stairs.

Chiara, who had been coddled her entire life, could barely stay on her feet.

But the cockroaches swarmed after them, as if they had already locked onto their targets.

The other men weren’t so lucky.

Some had barely taken two steps before they were tackled to the floor.

The uniformed bodyguards strode over and shoved the insects directly into their mouths.

Only then did they realize they had picked a fight with the wrong person.

But it was far too late.

“Fuck, this is all Chiara’s fault.”

“That bitch Estelle Hayes is more poisonous than a black widow.”

Upstairs, Chiara couldn’t run anymore. Her foot slipped, and she went down.

A tide of cockroaches immediately surged toward her.

The bodyguards were right behind them.

I had just opened the door to the Maserati when Chiara’s bloodcurdling scream echoed from the house.

“That’s a lovely sound.”

I slipped into the passenger seat.

Fallon slammed her foot on the gas, and the sports car shot into the night.

The car finally stopped at a secluded mountaintop estate, surrounded by forests and a shimmering lake.

As soon as I got out, I saw Conrad Sinclair walking toward me.

His face was usually a mask of cold indifference.

Only when he saw me did the chill in his eyes recede.

“Estelle.”

But when his gaze took in my disheveled state, his expression changed instantly.

I knew exactly what he was thinking.

This time, I wouldn’t stop him.
