My Alpha Bonded with Someone Else, I Did Too Chapter 08

Someone posted the chaos from the ceremony online.

It quickly shot to the top of the trending page.

Before long, people recognized Rachel as one of the people in the video. She was a moderately popular

TikTok influencer.

And pinned right at the top of her page was the video of me “admitting” I was the other woman.

Soon, people started digging through Rachel’s other videos for clues.

They found clips of her and Cole that looked like harmless banter but were clearly flirting, touching each other with no boundaries, leaning too close, acting far beyond the line of ordinary friendship.

Combined with the scene from the mating ceremony, the internet easily connected the dots.

A flood of comments poured under her videos, cursing her out.

“She was the other woman and still tried to frame the actual victim? Does she have no shame?”

“I hate girls who act like ‘one of the guys’ while stealing someone’s man. And the Alpha is pure garbage. You

two deserve each other.”

“Where are all the people who cursed out Professor Maya before? Come apologize.”

Rachel deleted all of her videos, but the screenshots had already spread across the internet.

Brands ended their partnerships with her one after another, and her account was banned.

Cole was dragged into the fallout too.

The Elder Council began considering removing him from his position as Alpha.

After all… he had Jured me to Silvermoon Pack and then failed to treat me properly, causing the Blackwood Pack to bring over a hundred warriors to take me back.

It was humiliating.

Cole’s personal account was dug up too.

His most recent post had been a birthday celebration for Rachel.

The comments underneath were packed with mockery.

“Boycott cheaters. Disgusting.”

“Weren’t you and the homewrecker inseparable? How did that turn into fighting each other?”

“Bro by day, lover by night. What kind of role-play is this?”

Cole gave no response to the public outrage.

He only searched for me like a madman.

When he called me, he realized every contact method he had for me had been blocked.

Even my phone number had been changed.

He wanted to reach out to my friends, only to discover that there was not a single one of them in his

contacts.

He went to my school looking for me, only to be told that because of the recent cyberbullying, I had already resigned and left.

In the end, he crossed a long distance and came to my pack.

He went to my parents’ home, but before he could even say a word, they threw him out.

People came and went on the street.

But not one of those figures belonged to me.

In a daze, he remembered the year we first got together.

I had once joked, “Cole, if you ever betray me, I’ll leave without looking back. I’ll make sure you can never find me again.”

Back then, he had sworn with absolute certainty that such a day would never come.

But that day had truly arrived.

How ironic.

If the Cole from back then had known he would one day betray Maya, he probably would have hated himselt.

And the Cole now was drowning in agony.

After Ethan brought me back to Blackwood Pack, we left for our honeymoon.

My parents helped manage the pack, and since I had already resigned from my job, I suddenly had plenty of

free time.

By the time I returned, my parents had already driven Cole away.

And they had forbidden him from setting foot here again.

Unless he had a death wish.

After returning to the pack, I quickly accepted a position at a new university because of my strong resume.

Starting a new job kept me so busy that when I finally had time to breathe, I realized nearly half a year had passed.

Those painful memories had gradually faded too.

Until one day, I received a call from an unknown number.

“Hello?”

There was no sound on the other end.

Just as I was about to hang up, a man’s hoarse voice came through

“Maya.”

I instinctively moved to end the call, but he seemed to sense it.

“Wait! Don’t hang up!”

He panicked at once.

“Maya, I know I was wrong.”

“I shouldn’t have gotten tangled up with someone else behind your back. I shouldn’t have taken everything you did for me for granted.”

His voice dropped lower and lower.

“Can we meet and talk? Please, Maya.”
