I Waited For My Mother’s Blessings, Only To Find She Gave All Her Luck To My Sister Chapter 03

I Waited For My Mother’s Blessings, Only To Find She Gave All Her Luck To My Sister Chapter 03

After Charlee’s gown issue was resolved, her wedding planner suddenly skipped town the next day.

She paced around the house in a panic, crying hysterically.

“What am I going to do? The wedding is tomorrow! How could they just vanish?”

Mom looked genuinely panicked for her.

“Don’t worry, honey. I’ll make sure your wedding goes smoothly no matter what.”

I was holding my phone, doing a final check with Morris on our schedule for tomorrow.

Suddenly, Mom snatched the phone out of my hand.

She scrolled through my messages while talking to Charlee.

“At this point, we have no choice but to contact Hailee’s wedding planner and have them swap the bride and groom names.”

My face went pale as a wave of dread washed over me.

“What do you mean?”

Mom didn’t even look at me.

She dialed my wedding planner directly.

“Yes, I’m Hailee’s mother. Tomorrow’s scheduled venue and service need to be transferred to Charlee Vaughn and Darrell Watts…”

My body went stiff, my eyes wide with disbelief.

I grabbed my phone back.

“Mom! What are you doing? I booked that team six months in advance! How can you just hand it over to Charlee?”

Mom frowned, her expression instantly turning cold.

“Charlee only gets married once! Nothing can go wrong for her!”

For the first time in so many years, she spoke a complete sentence to me.

I had waited twenty years for her to talk to me.

Yet those words hurt far worse than being stabbed in the chest.

Tears instantly filled my eyes.

“Charlee only gets married once, but what about me? Is my wedding a joke to you? Mom, you can’t do this…”

“You’re the older sister! You should yield to her!”

She snatched the phone back with force, and I watched helplessly as she finalized the change with the planner.

Memories flooded my mind of Morris and me lying under the night sky, dreaming about our wedding day.

I stood up straight, my voice firm. “I won’t agree to this!”

“Enough!”

Furious, Furious, Mom stepped toward me, her anger making me instinctively recoil.

“Keep pushing me, and you’ll regret what happens to Daisy this afternoon!”

My mind went completely blank.

Daisy was the dog I had raised for eight years.

When I was little, Daisy was the one who stayed by my side when I needed her most.

Mom knew exactly how much Daisy meant to me.

I held my burning cheek, shutting my mouth in absolute despair, not daring to say another word.

Out of the corner of my eye, I caught Charlee watching me with a triumphant smirk.

By then, Mom had finished settling everything with the event planner.

I slowly closed my eyes.

Fine.

Let this wedding be the end of us, Mom.
