I Ordered A Puppy Got Two Incubi Instead Chapter 06

I rushed out immediately. 

By the time I arrived, Adrian had already gotten there too. 

He carried Xavier to the car himself, but even that short 

distance left him breathing hard. 

Through the rearview mirror, I caught sight of Adrian’s face. 

He’d gotten so thin. 

Not just slim. Fragile. 

Like a strong gust of wind could knock him over. 

And only then did the horrifying realization finally hit me. 

I really had been starving them for a long time. 

Even the most disobedient Incubus couldn’t survive like that 

forever. 

Guilt crashed into me. 

“I’m sorry,” I whispered. 

At almost the exact same moment, Xavier murmured weakly 

in his sleep. 

“I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have lost my temper… I’ll be good… 

Master, please… don’t abandon me…” 

The sound nearly shattered me. 

Once we got home, I had Adrian carry Xavier into my bedroom. 

Standing beside the bed, I looked down at him silently. 

Because of his training and fighting schedule, Xavier burned through energy constantly. He needed more than most Incubi 

just to function. 

The fact that he’d lasted this long was already unbelievable. 

I took a shaky breath, quickly showered, then finally did what I should’ve done a long time ago. 

I fed him. 

The moment Xavier got even a taste of what he needed, some 

color returned to his face. 

Not long after, he slowly woke up. 

The second he realized he was naked in my bed, panic flashed 

across his expression. 

“M–Master?!” 

I forced myself to stay calm. 

“You said you were hungry.” 

“I wasn’t!” he snapped immediately. 

Still stubborn even now. 

Annoyed, I shoved him away with my foot and turned to get 

out of bed. 

“Fine. Then don’t eat.” 

The change in him was instant. 

One second ago he’d been sulking. 

The next, after getting kicked, something in his expression completely snapped. 

He lunged at me like a starving predator. 

Seriously, what was wrong with him? Why did he seem happier after being bullied? 

Halfway through, I slipped out to grab water. 

That was when I found Adrian quietly cooking in the kitchen. 

Chicken noodle soup simmered gently on the stove. 

When he saw me, he smiled softly. 

“Master, are you hungry? I made soup for you.” 

I walked over and lightly touched one of his beautiful white fox 

ears. 

“How come you never complained about being hungry?” 

Xavier complained constantly. At the time, I’d assumed he was 

just dramatic and bad–tempered. 

But Adrian never said a word. 

From beginning to end, he always put me first. 

So patient it hurt. 

“You were starving too,” I said quietly. “Why didn’t you tell 

me?” 

Adrian slowly offered me his tail, letting me play with the soft 

fur while he spoke. 

“I was afraid I’d scare you,” he admitted gently. “As long as Master could accept us, that was enough. And if you couldn’t… 

that was okay too. We would never force you.” 

I cut him off before he could finish. 

“Adrian,” I said softly, “you should eat too.” 

He froze. 

“But your body…” 

He was worried I wouldn’t be able to handle it. 

“I’ll be fine,” I insisted. “You and Xavier are twins, right? As long as he survives, you’ll survive too.” 

What he didn’t understand was that hearing him say things 

like that only made my chest ache more. 

How was that “fine“? 

I lowered my head and kissed the tip of his tail gently. 

His entire body shuddered violently. 

Years of restraint cracked apart in an instant. 

He’d been enduring it for so long. 

He was starving too. 

“Master…” he breathed hoarsely. 

Not long after, Xavier finally got impatient waiting for me to 

return. 

He came looking for me himself, low growling sounds 

rumbling from his throat. 

Apparently he still wasn’t full. 

Adrian held me against his chest from behind, gently brushing damp hair away from my face. 

“You worked hard tonight, Master,” he murmured softly beside my ear. “We’ll keep you warm while you sleep.” 

Right before exhaustion dragged me unconscious, one final thought crossed my mind. 

Seriously. 

What kind of “warming the bed” involved this much effort?
