He mumbled the words hollowly, his legs buckling so badly he nearly collapsed to the marble floor.

Emma broke down entirely the second she saw the photos.

She dropped to her knees with a heavy thud, clinging desperately to Luca’s legs.

“Don Moretti! Please listen to me explain!”

“Thomas forced himself on me! I never loved him — you’re the only man I’ve ever wanted!”

“These photos are edited fakes! Vera had them fabricated to tear us apart!”

Luca kicked her away from him with brutal force.

His eyes were bloodshot and wild with fury.

His men dragged Thomas forward immediately, his hands tied tightly behind his back, his face already covered in bruises from a brutal beating.

“You, Luca Moretti, will never have biological children of your own. You’re doomed to end your bloodline alone.”

My words struck Luca like a fatal blow.

He clutched his chest tightly, coughing up a mouthful of fresh blood before collapsing heavily to the floor, unconscious.
