At noon, I returned to my desk to pack up my things.

The small asteroid ornament on the table was given to me by Landon the year he graduated. At that

time, he was still full of confidence and said that I was his whole world.

I chuckled at myself, took one last look, and decided to take the ornament with me after all.

As I was leaving with the box în my arms, Isabelle suddenly walked in, looking anxious.

“Sorry colleagues, I seem to have lost the necklace I was wearing today. Could everyone please cooperate and do a routine check?”

In the office, others chatted with each other, exchanging words and gossip.

I saw Director Chase’s necklace when I came today, the diamonds on that necklace were big and

shiny!

Oh my god! There was actually a thief in our office. I kept wondering why the snacks on my desk always disappeared!

Landon stayed by Isabelle’s side and instructed the company security to block the door, then proceeded to check each person one by one.

years.
