The True Mafia Principessa Chapter 06

The True Mafia Principessa Chapter 06

The German Shepherd was already worked into a frenzy.

Its jaws snapped shut.

Crunch.

It bit straight into Clara’s arm, deep enough to hit bone.

Her scream tore through the room.

“Lucian! I was wrong! I’m sorry! I’m scared of pain, please let it go! I shouldn’t have set it on anyone!”

Lucian’s expression only grew colder.

He tightened his grip on the dog’s head, the metallic scent of blood filling the air.

“You’re scared of pain?” His voice was ice. “When you sicced this dog on Olyria, did you think about whether she felt pain?”

“You disgusting bitch.”

Only when Clara passed out from the agony did he finally release the dog. He kicked her aside and turned to the servants.

“Drag her back. Throw her into the kennel. Everything she owns goes in the trash.’

He looked down at her like she was nothing.

“What the hell is she, thinking she can be compared to Olyria? The only one worthy of being the Vayne family’s Principessa is Olyria.”

The servants were stunned. They glanced at Quentin.

“Mr. Ashford… this…”

Quentin gave a silent nod.

That was all the confirmation they needed.

No one dared question it.

They dragged Clara away.

Lucian turned sharply.

“The rest of you, put out the fire. Call it in. Whatever it takes, get Olyria out alive.”

I was rushed to the hospital.

They treated my wounds and ran a full set of tests.

The diagnosis came back brutal.

Multiple fractured ribs. One had nearly punctured my heart.

The prolonged fever had led to infection spreading through my body. I needed immediate

treatment.

By the time Uncle Lorenzo arrived, my ribs had just been stabilized.

He stood over my medical report, rage radiating off him.

“Olyria. What the hell happened?”

I lay flat on the bed, too weak to even sit up.

But the moment I saw him, my vision blurred with tears.

He was all I had left, besides my grandparents.

My voice broke.

“Uncle Lorenzo… Quentin tried to take everything. My inheritance, my name. He found someone to impersonate me. He kept me locked up so I couldn’t contact you. He even planted people in your company. He was planning to take it all.”

“I didn’t know until recently… after our family took him in, he was secretly supporting another orphan. That girl is the one living in the Vayne house now, pretending to be me.”

Lorenzo’s face darkened instantly.

He placed a hand on my head.

“Rest. I’ll handle this.”

He stepped outside and made a call.

Not long after, someone else entered the room.

Rocco.

Quentin’s sworn enemy.

When he saw me, battered and pale in the hospital bed, something in his expression turned lethal.

But when he spoke to me, his voice was gentle.

“I won’t let him touch you again. I’ll drag him here myself and make him kneel in front of you.”

For some reason, I believed him.

I stayed in the hospital to recover.

Once I was out of danger, Rocco got me a new phone.

Not long after, I received a call from the director of the orphanage I used to sponsor.

His tone was sharp, accusatory.

“Miss Vayne, do you have any idea what you’ve caused? Because of you, we couldn’t even finish paying for the premium books we ordered for the children. Since you’re overdue, you’ll need to transfer an extra one million dollars this time. Otherwise, it won’t be enough.”

After Quentin was adopted into our family, I had supported that orphanage every year.

At first, the director had been grateful. He tracked every expense carefully and reported back to me.

But over time, the reports grew less frequent.

The requests for money became more frequent.

Eventually, he even started sending me random expenses to reimburse.

I had asked Quentin to look into it.

He brushed it off.

“You’ve got money. Just give it to them. It might actually help.”

Looking back, that was when he started to change.

On the other end of the line, the director’s voice grew impatient.

“Miss Vayne, are you deaf? I’m talking to you. When are you sending the money? Hurry up. delay us.”

My voice turned cold.

“I won’t be transferring another cent.”

A pause.

Then I continued.

Don’t

“And I’ll be sending a lawyer to audit your accounts. I want to see exactly where the millions I donated over the years actually went.”
