The Silver Moon Princess Returns: The Alpha Begins to Regret Chapter 06

When Layla learned Daniel already had a mate, she blew a fuse.

She chased him out of the hospital room, crying and threatening to abort her pup.

Daniel dropped to his knees outside the room, pleading and apologizing nonstop.

“Layla, you know I love you! I’ll cut my mate bond with her right away. I’ll give you half my company assets—just don’t turn me away, please.”

Layla softened a little at his pleas. She peeked her head out of the room.

“You can come inside, but an apology alone won’t do. Bark like a dog for me, and I’ll forgive you.”

Daniel acted as though she’d given him a royal decree. He dropped to one knee in front of her and started barking.

“Woof! Woof woof!”

His silly barking drew mocking snorts from the onlookers.

Daniel went inside and fussed over Layla endlessly at her bedside. After confirming she was fine, he brought her back to the pack house.

As soon as they walked in, he turned to the servants and announced loudly.

“All of you, listen closely. This is your new Luna. Emily and I are ending our bond. From now on, address her only as Emily.”

The servants nodded quickly.

Then a thought crossed his mind, and he frowned.

“Where is Emily, anyway?”

Maria stepped forward, her hands trembling.

“Emily left yesterday and hasn’t come home since. None of us know where she is.”

Daniel let out a cold laugh. “Is that so? She’s just throwing another childish fit, trying to play hard to get.”

“Maria! Send people to clear out all her things from the bedroom. Throw everything of hers away. And get rid of that piano too.”

Maria spoke up nervously. “Alpha… that piano was the Luna’s most prized possession. She won an international competition with it. It brought her great honor…”

Daniel roared in fury. “Maria! Did I not make myself clear? This pack house has a new Luna now. If you can’t understand that, then you can pack your things and leave.”

Maria had three children to support. Terrified by his outburst, she rushed to apologize. She lifted her hand and began slapping her own cheeks in panic.

“You’re right, Alpha. I was confused. I’ll do it right away.”

Daniel led Layla into the bedroom that had once belonged to Emily and him. He tore the wedding photo off the wall and smashed it on the floor. The two of them stayed there, indulging in each other’s company.

That evening, Maria prepared a full table of Layla’s favorite dishes.
Still, Emily did not appear.

Daniel grew irritable and muttered to himself. “Is she really staying away for good? If she keeps this up, I’ll burn all her things. I’m waiting here until she signs those separation papers.”

Maria hurried in from the study with a document and held it out carefully.

“Alpha, is this what you’re looking for? The separation agreement. It looks like Emily prepared this a week ago.”

“It looks like the two of you had already decided to end your bond weeks ago. Her signature was already neatly signed on the paper. You just need to add yours.”

Daniel’s face went slack with shock. He grabbed the document and stared at Emily’s name on the page. His hands began to shake.

He suddenly remembered the rogues he had ordered Mark to take Emily to.

A brutal sense of dread crashed over him.

He pulled out his phone and dialed Emily’s number, but her line was completely dead.

Panic surged through him, and he turned to rush outside.

Layla grabbed his arm to stop him. “Daniel, where are you going? You promised you’d never go looking for her again.”

Daniel wrenched his arm away harshly. For the first time, he left her standing there alone.

He raced out the door and frantically searched everywhere for Emily.
