The Senator’s Daughter Is Now the CEO They Need Chapter 22

“This is wonderful, Chloe. Truly wonderful.”

Only Julian stood off to the side, clicking his tongue in irritation.

After basking in the glory for a moment, my father suddenly turned to Olivia, who was sitting uncomfortably on the sofa.

“Olivia, why did you keep telling us Chloe’s grades were poor? You had all of us completely fooled.”

Olivia’s face turned white.

She gripped her skirt, her voice faint.

“Dad… I’ve been busy with my Oxford arrangements and haven’t been paying much attention to school. Someone told me Chloe’s practice scores were bad, and I believed them. Maybe… maybe because Chloe doesn’t usually fit in, someone was deliberately trying to drive a wedge between us…”

I almost laughed.

“Every other sentence out of your mouth is about how I’m so unlikable.” I looked at her coldly. “Olivia, besides spreading gossip and playing the victim, do you know how to do anything else? The law school rankings are posted on the main bulletin board. Did you really not see them, or were you just pretending not to?”

Olivia’s eyes immediately reddened.

Julian stepped forward at once.
