The healer looked from the report to us. “According to the test, Seraphina and Bella share no blood relation. Furthermore, Bella and you, Alpha Marcus… also have no biological father-daughter relationship. Her bloodline contains not a single trace of the Vance family’s Alpha blood.”

The hallway fell silent. Marcus’s face drained of all color, and his lips trembled. “That’s impossible.”

“This is the result of the most ancient blood magic test,” the healer said, handing the report to Marcus. “There is no mistake.”

Marcus staggered back, leaning against the wall for support. Logan rushed to his side, his face a mask of disbelief.

I watched the scene unfold with mixed feelings.

For all these years, Marcus had doted on Bella, even neglecting his own daughter for her.

Who would have thought that the “illegitimate daughter” he treasured so much wasn’t even his child?

Elias came to my side and patted my shoulder.
