The Comments Told Me The Twin Brothers Shared Sensation Chapter 09

The tall survivor with a top-tier power was obviously nervous beyond belief.

He never managed the upward inflection on the final word, so what should have been a question

came out as a flat declaration.

My eyes burned as I looked at the wildflowers, and my heart melted into a puddle.

Even the comments were sobbing.

[Oh my God, this is so sweet I need to go body-slam my husband.]

[This ship is making me lose my mind! I knew it! He didn’t stay away from her today because he wasn’t interested. The second he heard she liked him, he went out and did something about it. He

likes her so much!]

I ran forward and threw myself into Adrian’s arms.

As I ran, someone seemed to tug at the hem of my shirt, but I paid no attention.

I lifted Adrian’s flowers and breathed in their scent again and again, happily rubbing against him

like an excited kitten.

Starting today, I could finally touch him openly, skin to skin.

Adrian stood rigidly and let me nuzzle against him. After a long moment, he gently pushed me back, his voice hoarse.

“Are you hungry? I found some sausages too.”

At the mention of sausages, I remembered that Mason had just offered to make some for me.

I turned around, but he was already gone.

Mason did not come out again until dinner.

He silently ate his share of canned food and sat alone in the corner.

I could not make out his expression. He seemed to be watching me, or perhaps he was staring at the large bouquet of wildflowers I had placed in the middle of the base.

The flowers had been gathered one stem at a time and were already beginning to wilt.

I carefully sprinkled water over them, only to look up and meet Mason’s dark eyes.

Only then did I realize I had somehow ended up standing directly across from him.

He calmly looked away, stood, and returned to his room.

That night, I naturally slipped into Adrian’s bedroom.

None of us had water-manipulation powers. Adrian created ice whenever we needed water, and Mason used his lightning power to heat it.

Fortunately, they both possessed top-tier powers, so it did not drain much of their energy.

Adrian came out rubbing his hair dry. When he saw me lying on my stomach on his bed, his eyes

darkened.

“Can I sleep in here tonight?”

I felt a little embarrassed. After all, this was only our first day together.

But I had not slept properly since Mason started giving me the silent treatment.

“Okay.”

Adrian’s voice was slightly hoarse.

I slowly edged closer and wrapped both arms around his waist.

His body stiffened. A faint noise came from the room next door, but the pounding of our hearts

drowned it out.

“Maybe I should go back…”

“Are you tired?”

We spoke at the same time, then both fell silent.

The charged atmosphere made the room feel warmer by the second.

Adrian was incredibly handsome. The first time I met the twins, their looks had stunned me.

Even before the zombie apocalypse, it would have been rare to meet a man this gorgeous and immaculate, let alone in a world this filthy, foul-smelling, and chaotic.

“Why do you want to go back?”

Adrian took my hand and led me toward the bed.

I slowly climbed into his arms, and he drew a deep breath before wrapping both arms firmly around

“Because… I don’t think we should share a bed on the first day we start dating.”

I was not planning to do anything, but I was afraid Adrian might think we were moving too fast.

My voice came out muffled against his chest.

Adrian cleared his throat softly.

“We’re together now, Quinn.”

I looked up at him. His eyelashes trembled slightly.

“I’m your boyfriend. You can do anything you want to me.”

Anything… I wanted?
