The Comments Told Me The Twin Brothers Shared Sensation Chapter 08

Chloe stared at the can on the floor and let out a heartbroken wail.

“Do you have any idea how hard canned food is to come by? Why did you suddenly jump up and

throw it? If you don’t want it, give it to me!”

Adrian looked up, his gaze calm and unreadable.

“I’m done.”

Mason was trembling with anger. Humiliation churned in his eyes as he turned and strode toward

his room, as though his tears would fall if he moved any slower.

“You two can handle the supply run today.”

Mason shut himself in his room.

When I tried to attach my safety tether to Adrian as usual, he refused.

I stared at him in surprise. Adrian turned his face away, the tips of his ears burning red.

“No tether today. We’ll split up. You go with Chloe.’

“I already scouted the area. There aren’t any zombies within three miles. Call me on the radio if

anything happens.”

With that, he hurried away.

I stood there watching his retreating back as disappointment slowly crept over me. Even the

comments sensed that something was wrong.

[What does that mean? Is the other ship doomed too?]

[Fine. Let every ship get filthy. The filthier, the better.]

[The second male lead obviously likes her, doesn’t he? When she said she was pursuing him this

morning, he was secretly thrilled. I saw the corner of his mouth rise by 0.3 pixels.)

[Maybe he thinks there’s something between his brother and the female supporting character.

Either way, it looks like he’s giving up.]

I searched for supplies in a daze until even Chloe noticed something was wrong.

“Are you okay?”

The crushing disappointment, combined with my touch starvation, pushed me over the edge. I threw myself into her arms and began crying quietly.

“Don’t cry. Here, you can have this.”

After standing there in confusion for a while, Chloe pulled half of a crumpled chocolate bar from her pocket.

“It’s name-brand chocolate. You can’t find this stuff anywhere anymore. Someone.. gave it to me.”

At the mention of that someone, the brightness in her eyes dimmed.

I looked at the half-eaten chocolate bar. The hug had already made my body feel much better, and now I did not know whether to laugh or cry.

“You keep it.”

The comments immediately found a new ship.

[Things are starting to go in a very unexpected direction.]

[Whatever. I’m into sapphic ships too. As long as there’s chemistry, I’ll ship it.]

Adrian still had not returned when Chloe and I made it back.

Mason watched me closely. When he saw that Chloe and I had returned together, he seemed a little

pleased.

“I found some sausages we picked up a couple of days ago. If you want, I could…”

He approached me with a cold expression, but abruptly fell silent when he looked toward the

entrance.

I followed his gaze.

Chloe gasped.

“Where did those flowers come from?!”

In the zombie apocalypse, foul-smelling bloodstains were everywhere. Even weeds were hard to find, much less a bright bouquet like this.

Fine beads of sweat covered Adrian’s forehead. He pressed his lips together and looked at me.

“Sorry. These were the only wildflowers I could find nearby, Quinn…”

His voice was hoarse. He drew a deep breath.

“If you’re willing to be with me, then the moment the apocalypse ends, I want to give you a much more beautiful bouquet.”

“Quinn, would you… give me a chance.”

It was the first time since I had met Adrian that I had heard the ice prince say so much at once.
