That weekend was the Met Gala charity dinner.

Every year, all the big names in New York came to this.

The difference was.

This year, Theo had sent a senior stylist to do my look for me.

I didn’t think anything of it at first.

Until she pulled out this stunning, floor-length red velvet dress, and that was when I realized something was off.

“Did you grab the wrong one?”

The CEO of Harrison Group was a lame old man.

“Where are you?”

Theo repeated himself again.

“Where are you?”

I looked down, typing back. “In my room.”

After a while, he texted back.

“Wait for me, twenty minutes.”

Just as I was hesitating whether to wait for him in my room, the danmaku suddenly exploded—
