Sister’s Perfect Cheat Became Her Ruin Chapter 02

Sister’s Perfect Cheat Became Her Ruin Chapter 02 A Test Full of Traps
I stopped the song in my head, stared at the tactical simulation section, and began setting my trap.
The correct answer to question two was clearly B, but I deliberately repeated in my mind, “I missed this exact question on the last practice exam. C has to be right. I can’t screw it up again.”
The correct answer to question five worked out to D, but I put on a full performance in my head. “Wait, I messed that up, didn’t I? A makes way more sense with how bloodlines overpower each other. Yeah, it’s A. Definitely.”
I even sabotaged the long tactical problems, replacing every point-scoring step with a dead end.
I replayed the formulas and every calculation step in my head again and again, making sure Elsa caught every mistake and every wrong detail.
I watched Elsa from the corner of my eye.
Every so often, she glanced back at me in a panic, then lowered her head and wrote as fast as she could.
She never touched the scratch slate beside her.
When the proctor passed her desk and saw her nearly full answer sheet, he smiled in approval.
When he reached my desk and saw that my test was almost blank, he gave a quiet sigh, shook his head, and moved on.
I knew what the sigh meant.
Before Elsa transferred in, I was the only real prodigy among the low-rank wolves.
I placed first in every pack exam, and every elder believed I would pass the Bloodline Exam, join the Alpha Central Tribunal, and elevate my bloodline.
Then Elsa transferred in.
My ranking fell apart, and everyone branded me a cheater.
The whole pack assumed I had cracked under pressure and turned to dirty tricks.
At the last pack gathering, Dad gave Elsa a bouquet of golden sunflowers, a symbol of high status. He did not even look at me.
I kept my head down and calmly fed Elsa one wrong answer after another through my thoughts.
One hour into the exam, I heard a soft tap from the seat diagonally ahead of me.
Elsa set down her pen with a flourish, rolled her wrist, and stood up first while hundreds of low-rank candidates stared in disbelief. Then she carried her test straight to the proctor.
She was turning in her test early.
On the way, she took an unnecessary detour past my desk. She glanced at my half-empty test and gave me a smug grin.
The proctor flipped through her pages and smiled. “You finished already? That’s impressive. At this rate, you’ll take first place and earn the chance to change your bloodline.”
Elsa thanked him with a sweet smile and practically skipped out of the testing hall.
I kept watching until she was completely out the door.
The second she disappeared, I finally breathed again.
I grabbed my pen, moving so fast my hand almost blurred.
Every wrong answer I had planted in my mind vanished at once.
The correct tactical reasoning rushed back into place.
I corrected every multiple-choice answer, filled in the exact values, and wrote out every point-scoring step for the long problems.
I did not skip a single part of even the hardest derivation.
While the other candidates were still tearing their hair out, I finished the entire test in thirty minutes and checked it three times.
Finally, I stacked my scratch slates in problem order, each one covered with calculations and reasoning, and set them beneath my exam booklet.
If anyone tried to accuse me later, those complete scratch slates would be undeniable proof that I had not cheated.
Outside the testing hall, Elsa was already bragging that the exam had been ridiculously easy and that she would definitely take first place in the pack.
The moment she saw me, her eyes lit up. She made a taunting gesture at me.
Her lips moved clearly enough for me to read every word.
“The one spot that can change a bloodline is mine. You can spend the rest of your life rotting in the gutter with the rest of the low-rank trash.”
[AHHHH our girl is savage. I am obsessed!]
[That lowborn extra must be green with envy right now LMAO. Nobody beats Elsa!]
[Elsa LET’S GOOOOO!]
As the comments floated through the air, the faintest smile touched my lips.
My dear little sister probably never imagined what she had written on that answer sheet she filled out so proudly.
Every answer was a trap I had designed to send her straight to hell.
