She Used My Face to Catch Her Online Boyfriend, Then I Became His Chapter 12

I knew Janice was up to something.

She followed me from the school gate all the way to the hotel.

When I opened the door, she jumped out and blocked me from Kyle.

“Hey, handsome. You’ve been cheated on.”

She looked at Kyle excitedly.

“You’re such a catch. I couldn’t bear seeing you fooled by Brianna. I was going to look the other way, but she’s gone too far. She’s with you and openly seeing other guys. Here, look.”

She held up her phone triumphantly.

“You didn’t expect this, did you? I recovered the photos from my recently deleted folder.”

I was stunned.

I looked closer.

It was a picture of me feeding my sister.

She kept going.

“She’s not a good person. Whenever I was on the phone with my boyfriend, she’d try to butt in. She’s probably used to being the other woman.”

“I have no respect for people like that. Taking advantage of others, stealing their partners. It’s disgusting.”

Leaving aside everything else, her whole speech about “the other woman” hit a sore spot for Kyle.

His expression darkened.

His lips pressed tight.

Janice thought he believed her and kept pushing.

“I hope all homewreckers get what’s coming to them. They’re a menace to society. Meddle in someone else’s relationship, and you’ll get abandoned too.”

Kyle couldn’t take it anymore.

He looked at me, desperate for reassurance.

“Babe, you don’t think that, do you?”

I quickly smoothed his feathers.

“No, no.”

Janice: ?

The truth is, when I first met Kyle, he was as proper as they come.

We met at my ex’s birthday party.

A group of people wanted to play Truth or Dare.

My ex was game — he did a cross-arm shot with another girl without a second thought.

When it was Kyle’s turn, his dare was to kiss the first person of the opposite sex to his left.

That was me.

He didn’t even look up.

He took three penalty shots instead.

Then he stood up and announced to the whole room, “That’s trash. Don’t invite me to this kind of thing again.”

His eyes swept over me briefly, paused, and he handed me a tissue.

Then he left.

As we got to know each other, he changed.

He was willing to be the other man.

And he knew exactly how to play me.
