The last message was deleted almost immediately.

But Maya, still wearing my identity, had clearly seen it.

She stood backstage, staring at her phone, her face even darker than before.

“Why would I?”

“Because I’m in your body now!”

She lowered her voice, practically hissing.

“Wrong.” I cut her off calmly.

“The second you decided to steal my life, that face stopped being my problem.”

“Then prove it.”

All I heard was her ragged breathing.

Then she hung up.

Ten minutes later, I was added to a temporary group chat.

Several of the stronger students in our major were already there.

Maya sent money to everyone in the group.
