Oops! I Fell for My Love Coach Chapter 03

Maybe my mood had been so miserable these past few days that X noticed something was wrong.

[You’ve been sighing a lot lately. Who made my Peaches sad?]

Whenever I ran into a problem I couldn’t solve, I sometimes went to him for terrible advice.

After thinking it over for a while, I decided to tell him the truth: [I’ve been chasing after an Alpha lately.]

The moment I sent that sentence, my phone started buzzing like crazy.

[Chasing after someone?!!! When did this happen? You actually hid a man from me?]

[I’m supposed to be the only one you care about! Who the hell is that shameless bastard?]

[Did he drug you or something? How dare he seduce you? I’ll beat him. I’ll kill him!]

Even through the screen, I could feel that world-ending murderous rage.

I figured he was probably afraid I would get hurt by some trashy man.

So I quickly explained: [Don’t get so worked up. He’s not that kind of person. He’s amazing, and the people chasing him could line up for blocks.]

[It’s all an act! That bastard is definitely pretending! You’re too easy to fool, and that’s why he got to you! Tell me his name. Now.]

I hesitated for a moment, then gave him the truth.

[His name is Theron. He’s the Alpha of Grayridge Pack. He looks hard to approach, but he’s a good person.]

X, who had been acting like a madman ready to crawl through the internet and murder someone, suddenly went quiet.

He stayed silent for an unusually long time.

When he finally replied, his tone had turned strangely serious.

[How long have you been chasing him?]

[About a month.]

The other side paused again.

Then he gave a heavy, meaningful sigh.

[You really are clueless, aren’t you? Your method is terrible. Don’t be scared. From now on, I’ll teach you step by step. As long as you listen to me, I promise you’ll get him.]

Less than ten minutes later, I stared at my chat, now flooded with illegal instructions on how to break in, follow him, and lock him down by force…

I stared at it for a long moment, lost in thought.

X’s first instruction was to sneak into Theron’s place and snoop around for clues about his daily life.

I hesitated.

[The problem is, I don’t even know where he lives.]

X replied in seconds: [Ridgecrest Road, Grayridge Pack Territory.]

[But I don’t have an access pass or a key. I can’t get in.]

[There’s a spare hidden under the gray doormat by the door.]

[How would I know when he isn’t home? What if I run into him? I’d be dead.]

[On weekdays, he always goes for a thirty-minute run at six sharp. After breakfast, he leaves the house. He definitely won’t be back before seven at night.]

[But…]

[No buts. I’m here. Nothing’s going to happen to you.]

[I just don’t get it. You’re an outsider, so how do you know his schedule better than his own mother?]

[I’m a hacker. Finding a little personal information is nothing.]

That part, I believed completely.

After all, he even knew the color of my underwear.

So under X’s relentless brainwashing and encouragement, I somehow ended up inside Theron’s heavy wooden wardrobe an hour later.

As for why I was folded inside a wardrobe like I was trying to become boneless?

Because Theron had, for once in his life, come home early.

The air around me was full of that clean, woodsy scent.

I huddled in the corner, too scared to breathe.

Then I furiously texted X.

[You’re lying! All your intel was a trap! Theron is right outside!]
