My Husband’s Mistress Fed Me Bugs Chapter 08

They said nothing. They simply waited for my command.

I looked at the stunned faces before me, my voice ice-cold.

“I’m out.”

“Now, let’s see if you have what it takes to get away.”

The room was suddenly filled with bodyguards. One look told you they were not your average security.

The men who’d gotten a face full of water were still cursing, completely oblivious.

“Fuck, I didn’t know Estelle could fight.”

“So what if she can fight? She’s still alone.”

“That temper just makes me want her more.”

But they soon realized something was wrong.

The room had gone deathly quiet.

“Who turned the AC down so low?”

When they finally rubbed the water from their eyes and looked up, every one of them froze.

Even Orion, who always acted like he’d seen it all, was silent.

Wrapped in the coat, I walked to a chair and sat, watching them with an unnerving calm.

Orion stared at me, his eyes filled with shock and suspicion.

He had never seen me like this.

“Estelle Hayes.”

“Who the hell are you?”

“She’s someone people like you can’t afford to provoke.”

A woman’s voice cut through the tension from the doorway.

My greatest rival, and the friend who understood me best, walked in.
