The next morning, the comments woke me up.

[Laughing at how crazy that dream was.]

[It was kind of funny. She was begging him in her dream, clinging to his leg.]

[Hunter left for Cole Industries early this morning.]

[He took the draft divorce agreement with him too.]

[He’s meeting with Liam Bennett, his lawyer, this afternoon.]

[Stella finally took a day off for herself. Might as well pack her bags and leave.]

I rubbed my temples. That dream was a bit much. Hunter had always been generous. Even if we divorced, I doubted he’d burn all bridges.

If it came to that, maybe I could try to negotiate for the lab?

But honestly, I really didn’t want a divorce. Hunter supported my career and gave me all the space I needed to pursue my passion.

I knew I’d be hard pressed to find a better partner. And over these three years of marriage, I’d realized I had feelings for him.

I made a decision. I was going to fight for this! As long as I hadn’t signed those divorce papers, there was still a chance to fix things.
