My Comatose Wife Woke Up Pregnant Chapter 06 From Vows to Handcuffs

Vian knew at a glance that the footage was real. No deepfake could reproduce every detail that perfectly.

The guests erupted.

Even Natalie looked stunned.

“How could this be true? Mason lied all along–and seduced Vivian into cheating?”

“Was her coma fake too?”

“Does that mean Julian was the only innocent person here?”

Regret struck Natalie. She should never have slapped me.

The video continued above the stage.

Breathless, Chloe asked,

“Mason… don’t you think you went too far tonight?

“You had those men kidnap Julian, film that sick video, and whip him until he was covered in blood. Aren’t you afraid someone will find out?”

Mason laughed.

“How would anyone know if neither of us talks? Those men know how to keep their mouths shut.

Julian can scream the truth until he loses his voice, and Vivian still won’t believe him. She’ll decide he got caught doing something filthy and took a beating for it.”

Cold spread through Vivian’s limbs.

Mason had staged the video with the women too.

And instead of believing I had been attacked, she had published that post and made my humiliation even

worse.

The recording ended.

Mason forced himself to remain calm and approached her again.

“Vivian, there’s something wrong with that footage. You have to trust me.

“Why would I ever have Julian kidnapped?”

She backed away from him.

Then she tore off her wedding ring and flung it at his feet.

“Stay away from me, Mason!

“This wedding is over. We’re filing for divorce as soon as we leave.”

son stared at her, then burst into an exaggerated laugh.

“What fantasy are you living in? I finally got you. I’m never agreeing to a divorce.

Finished

“You wanted me long before this. Now we’re married in front of everyone, my company is thriving, and we have everything. What else could you possibly want?

“Don’t tell me you plan to crawl back to that failure, Julian. That’s pathetic.”

Vivian raised her hand to strike him again, but he caught her wrist and squeezed.

His eyes turned hard.

“Enough with the tantrum, Vivian.

“Keep testing me, and I might make that coma real this time.”

She stared at him in disbelief.

Only now did she finally see him clearly–a vicious, cold–blooded liar,

Regret crashed over her.

She regretted believing him, faking the coma to punish me, and ever letting him touch her.

Worse, she was carrying his child.

The thought shattered her.

She wanted to turn to me for help.

But I was already gone.

By then, the ballroom had descended into chaos.

Some guests were already demanding their gifts back before leaving.

Mason didn’t care. He glared at the officiant.

“What are you waiting for? Continue the ceremony!”

The officiant raised the microphone, about to obey.

Then two groups in dark uniforms and suits swept into the ballroom.

The first was a police unit.

“Mason Cole, you are under investigation in connection with a kidnapping. You need to come with us.”

Behind them came several sharply dressed attorneys.

“Officers, we represent Julian Prescott, the victim. We have been authorized to assist with the investigation

into Mr. Cole’s abduction and assault of our client.”

son’s face turned gray.

His voice shook.

“I didn’t kidnap Julian. You have the wrong person!”

One officer answered evenly.

“The evidence will determine that.”

But Vivian was fixated on the name the lawyers had used.

“Julian Prescott? As in the Prescott family?”

Uncertainty made her voice thin.

One attorney studied her before answering.

“Yes. Julian is the sole heir to the Prescott family of Crestmont. You were his former wife. Did you truly not

know?

“He left Riverton aboard the family jet.”
