My Alpha Made Me Bleed for My Sister Chapter 06

The men opened an account, confirmed the transfer had gone through, and left quickly.

Turned out, Serena had hired them.

Back at the Pack infirmary.

Serena had just put her phone away when Adrian walked in, handing her a freshly washed apple.

“How are you feeling?”

Serena smiled sweetly.

“Much better. Thanks for looking after me.”

“Don’t mention it.”

He pinched her cheek and stood up.

“Get some rest. I’ll come check on you later.”

Before he could take a step, she suddenly grabbed her forehead, her voice weak.

“Ugh, I suddenly feel so dizzy…”

He stopped in his tracks, quickly helping her lie back down.

“Why would you suddenly feel dizzy? Anything else feel off?”

He called the healer over.

Watching the healer examine her, his mind wandered without him noticing.

I wonder how she’s doing right now.

He’d seen for himself that I could barely even stand.

But he’d still taken Serena out first.

He’d meant to go back for me.

But Serena had been too shaken up to leave alone.

So he’d just told the guards to make sure I got out and sent straight to the Pack infirmary for a checkup.

I wonder which room she’s in.

While the healer was examining Serena, he stepped out to the head healer’s office.

Only to be told there was no Elara on the admissions list.

Something sank in his chest.

He called the guard.

Once. Twice.

No answer.

Unease spread fast.

He slammed the elevator button and headed for the underground garage.

Nearly He nearly tripped stepping out of the elevator.

He sped the whole way back to the hall.

The lounge room was completely empty.

Everything had burned to ash.

Only a few cleaners were left, clearing the scene.

He grabbed one of them at random.

“Did you see a girl come through here?”

“Wearing… bunny ears…”

The person shook their head, confused.

He stood there, his body trembling slightly.

Suddenly his phone rang.

It was the guard, calling back.

Loud noise on the other end, music blaring.

“Alpha, you called?”

“Where’s Elara?”

His voice was clipped, cold.

The other end paused.

“Miss Elara?”

“Didn’t you say we didn’t need to worry about her anymore?”

“You even got me a bar VIP room, said you were sorry for the trouble trouble, and told me to enjoy myself…”

“When did I ever say that?!”

Adrian’s roar cut him off.

“Who gave you the nerve to lie like that?!”

The guard’s voice turned frantic.

“I wouldn’t dare! Alpha, I swear I was just following orders!”

“Whose orders?”

“Wasn’t it what Miss Serena passed along from you…?”

The voice on the other end shook uncontrollably.

Serena?

Why would she do something like this?

Back at the infirmary, Adrian stormed into Serena’s room.

Serena was leaned against the headboard. Seeing him come in, her eyes lit up, and she reached for his

sleeve.

“Adrian, where’d you go?”

“I’m so bored just lying here alone. Take me for a walk?”

He brushed her hand off, pulled out his phone, and played the recording of the call with the guard.

“Anything you want to explain?”

Her expression dropped.

Not the least bit surprised.

“It was you’

Adrian’s voice went low, something dark churning in his eyes.

“Serena, when did you get this vicious?”

“Me, vicious?”

Her eyes reddened.

“I was just scared of losing you. Is that so wrong?”

“As long as she’s alive, you two are getting married!”

“And then, then all you’ll see is her – you her. You won’t be the brother who only spoils me anymore!”
