I Stopped My Kind Son From Being Framed Chapter 06

I Stopped My Kind Son From Being Framed Chapter 06

“Yesterday afternoon, I made a three-million-dollar donation to Hudson University for a brand new, state-of-the-art 4K panoramic security system.”

The color completely drained from Chloe’s face.

I held her gaze, speaking deliberately.

“And as it turns out, the library’s north fire exit was the very first priority zone for the installation.”

“The team finished calibration at exactly noon today. The system is fully operational and streaming live to

the cloud.”

Chloe staggered backward.

If Logan hadn’t caught her arm, she would have collapsed onto the floor.

“No… that’s impossible…”

“The university didn’t announce anything…”

“An announcement?”

I let out a sharp, mocking laugh. “Why would I give a head-up to an extortionist?”

Davis rushed over, snatching the document from the desk. His expression shifted through a rapid sequence

of shock and horror.

“This… this is indeed the donation agreement signed yesterday.”

Vance began to stutter, his voice cracking. “Even… even if there’s a camera, Ethan could still…”

“Officers.”

I completely ignored Vance, turning directly to the lead authoritiesman.

“The footage is synced to the cloud. I have the master admin credentials right here on my phone. We can review the feed from 1:30 PM today immediately.”

The officer nodded instantly.

“Do it. Set it up.”

I tapped my phone, mirroring the screen onto the massive TV mounted on the office wall.

Every single eye in the room locked onto the display.

I dragged the progress bar back to 1:20 PM.

The footage was crystal clear.

At 1:25 PM, Chloe Jenkins walked into the fire corridor completely alone.

The space was deserted.

She stood at the stairwell landing, looking around carefully.

Once she confirmed she was alone, she grabbed the collar of her shirt with both hands and ripped it open.

The sound of tearing fabric was practically audible.

Next, she raised her hands and dug her fingernails deep into her own neck.

Bright red welts flared up instantly.

She even threw herself onto the floor, rolling around to mess up her hair like a maniac.

With her staging complete, she leaned against the wall and pulled out her phone to send a quick text.

At 1:30 PM, Logan Harrington crept into the frame.

The two of them exchanged a few hushed words.

Then, Logan ran off.

Chloe took a deep breath, threw her head back, and let out that bloodcurdling, tragic shriek.

“Ah-!!”

From start to finish, Ethan Miller never entered the frame.

The video cut to black.

The students outside stood frozen, their mouths wide open.

“What the hell… how is that possible…”

“She did that to herself?”

“Jesus Christ, that is psychotic.”

The tide turned instantly.

Chloe suddenly lost it, lunging at the TV to smash the screen.

“It’s fake! It’s a deepfake! She paid someone to fake it!”

The two officers moved like lightning, pinning her straight to the floor.

“Stop moving!”

The lead officer pulled out his cuffs, snapping them tightly around her wrists.

“Chloe Jenkins, you are under arrest for filing a false authorities report and attempted extortion. Let’s go.”

“No! I didn’t do anything! Release me!”

She thrashed wildly, tears and mascara running down her face.

Suddenly, she whipped her head around, glaring at Logan.

“It was him! He told me to do it! He said if we ruined Ethan, he could take the Valedictorian speech slot! He

promised me twenty grand!”

Logan jumped back, his hands waving frantically in the air.

“You’re full of shit! You crazy bitch! You’re the one who seduced me, promising we’d hook up if this worked!”

The officer walked over with a cold face, cuffing Logan too.

“Save it for the precinct. Move.”

The authorities began dragging them out of the office.

As Chloe passed by me, she snapped, staring at me with pure venom.

“Why do you get to look down on everyone? You rich bastards are born with everything! I just wanted a scholarship to change my life! What did I do wrong!”

I looked at her, finding the whole display pathetic and absurd.

“Being poor doesn’t give you a license to be evil.”
