I Slapped the Villain and Claimed I Was His Future Wife Chapter 11

I Slapped the Villain and Claimed I Was His Future Wife Chapter 11

Luca and I weren’t in the same homeroom, but we had gym class together.

My eyes always followed him.

He always seemed unhappy.

I wanted him to be happy.

So in my letters, I drew cute little pictures to cheer him up.

I hoped seeing them would make his day a little brighter.

After graduation, I couldn’t see him anymore.

But I kept writing letters and sending small gifts on holidays.

I still remembered his home address.

When I grew up, I saw Luca once.

He had become even more handsome, and even colder.

He didn’t know the girl who brushed past him on the street had been secretly in love with him for years.

People always said loving someone from afar was bittersweet.

But to me it tasted sweet.

Maybe because I never expected anything in return.

Loving him from afar was my own choice.

It was a sweet fruit growing quietly inside my heart.

Until one day, the fruit fell.

It started to rot, and the smell became even sweeter.

At twenty-four, I was hospitalized.

I knew I was about to leave this world.

I wrote one last letter as a goodbye.

“Luca, I won’t write to you anymore, because I’m going to stop liking you…”

But I never finished the letter. I fell asleep and never woke up.

I had signed a body donation consent form.

What a shame. My heart was damaged.

Otherwise it would have kept loving Luca.

In the later loops, I kept repeating the same fate.

Then came the seventh loop.

While secretly trying to slip a letter and vanilla milk into his desk, I got caught by Luca.

I panicked and said, holding the items, “This isn’t for you.”

Luca looked at me and smiled.

“Really?”

“Then give it back.”

I shoved everything into his hands.

Then I ran.

The second time, Luca caught me again.

I had just placed the items in his desk when I turned around and saw him standing right behind me.

This time I was speechless.

My face burned red with embarrassment.

“What’s your name?”

Luca blocked the aisle, trapping me beside his desk.

When I didn’t answer, he repeated, “What’s your name?”

I shook my head.

I didn’t want to say.

Luca stepped closer and grabbed the academy ID badge hanging around my neck.

He looked down at it, then at me. “Ivy. I’ll remember it.”

Hearing my name from Luca’s lips sent my heartbeat completely out of rhythm.

So this was what it felt like to have the person you liked say your name.

It felt like spring flowers blooming in my blood.

From then on, I stopped hiding my feelings.

Luca approached me on his own.

He was domineering and determined.

His certainty made someone as cautious as me dare to want more.

I wanted to be with him.

Even if my life was short, I wanted to hold his hand, hug him, kiss him.

I wanted to date Luca.

From high school graduation through college and into our working years, our relationship grew deeper and deeper.

Marriage felt like the natural next step.

I used to think Luca was emotionally distant.

Until we were together, I realized how clingy he actually was.

He loved physical intimacy.

While we were dating, he would kiss me until my whole face turned red.

After we married, he stopped holding back altogether.

I couldn’t help asking if he could hold back a little.

In the heat of the moment, Luca moved his burning palm to rest over my heart.

His voice was low and husky. “Ivy, I’ve already been holding back a lot.”

The days I spent with Luca were the happiest of my life.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay with him until we grew old.

At twenty-four, I still died and left Luca behind.

After falling apart for a while, Luca found Celia and Elias.

He destroyed Celia’s redemption mission again and again, forcing the world to reset.

All so he could be with me.

In the end, he forced the higher power to appear.

Luca made a deal: as long as I lived a healthy, peaceful life into old age in this lifetime, he would stop interfering with Celia’s redemption mission.

The higher power agreed.

But it erased all my memories of Luca.

It also prevented our first meeting.

It erased any possibility of me liking him.
