I Slapped the Villain and Claimed I Was His Future Wife Chapter 01

I Slapped the Villain and Claimed I Was His Future Wife Chapter 01

The female lead had failed to redeem the male lead once again.

Once again, I opened my eyes and found myself back in senior year. As a background character, I was boiling with rage.

As I passed the male lead, I swung my hand across his face.

“You walk around like your life is already over. You’re going to be rich, powerful, with a beautiful wife who loves you. What the hell do you have to die for!”

“I’ve taken the SAT ninety-nine times. Every time I claw my way from entry-level pay to a decent job, you drag me right back to senior year! Do you have it worse than I do?”

The boy in the deep blue blazer and white shirt stared at me with cold eyes.

Right then, reader comments exploded in front of me:

“Girl, you just slapped a villain who never forgives an insult and destroys anyone who crosses him!”

I was back in senior year again.

Staring at the familiar classroom and faces, I was completely done.

The towering stack of books and open workbooks on my desk nearly made me lose it on the spot.

No one understood how painful and hopeless it was to keep repeating senior year.

The worst part? Every reset wiped my knowledge clean.

I could never remember all the material I’d reviewed countless times or the SAT questions I’d answered over and over.

My rebirth was nothing but endless SAT hell and college application torture.

Even more infuriating, every loop ended right when I was finally about to land a decent job after scraping by on entry-level pay.

Then death. Straight-up death.

Because the male lead didn’t want to live anymore, the whole world went down with him.

I was just one unlucky background character caught in the crossfire.

After so many loops, I finally awakened.

I was a background extra in a redemption romance novel with no name and zero lines.

This world was a mafia romance disguised as a high school redemption story.

Because the female lead kept failing to save the male lead, he died, and the world reset again and again.

I’d heard the male lead had mental issues.

My only thought was: then go to St. Clare Medical Center and get help! The female lead isn’t a damn doctor!

And if he didn’t want to live, why did a background extra like me, working herself raw for entry-level pay, have to suffer too?

They never included me when they got everything good.

But when he decided to end it all, he took me down with him.

From start to finish, fate had been pulling my strings.

“The latest assessment results come out tomorrow. I hate this world.”

“Pretty sure Elias Grant is still top of the class.”

“Ivy, you look awful. Are you okay?”

The classmate next to me stared at me with concern.

The name Elias made something stir in my numb mind.

I shot up from my seat.

Ignoring my classmate’s shocked face, I stormed out with all the fury of returning to senior year and burst into the classroom next door.

At the very back near the door, a guy was sleeping face-down on his desk.

The girl beside him saw me fuming and asked cautiously, “Um… can I help you?”

I focused on her face and recognised her.

The female lead, Celia Rowan.

In the book, her seat was right next to the male lead’s.

Staring at the male lead’s perfectly shaped head, my palm itched to hit him.

I really wanted to knock some sense into him right now.

Celia hesitated, then reached over and shook the sleeping guy awake.

The male lead lifted his head from his arms, annoyed, and glared at Celia for disturbing him.

She pointed at me standing in the doorway.

“Someone’s looking for you,” she whispered.

The boy in the deep blue blazer slowly turned around.

My hand moved before my brain could stop it.

Slap! My palm struck his cheek.
