Grayson threw the tablet across the room.

It hit the wall with a loud crack.

Pieces fell across the floor.

The dogs had bitten through her wounds.

He had driven away the woman who once loved him more than anything.

He released Lily.

She fell to the floor and struggled to breathe.

“Keep looking for Vivian.”

“Check airports, hospitals, roads, and every contact the Ashfords have.”

“I want to know where she is.”

“Yes, sir.”

“Throw out everything Lily owns.”

“From today, she is no longer part of this household.”

Lily stared at him.

“You can’t do this.”

“I gave you seven years.”

“I gave you the best years of my life.”

He walked toward the door

“Bring the dogs back.”

She moved backward.

“I’m afraid of dogs.”

Grayson walked toward her.

“Do you think Vivian wasn’t afraid?”

“You watched while they tore into her.”

Lily turned to run.

She only made it two steps.

Grayson grabbed her hair and pulled her back.

She screamed.

He dragged her toward the garden.
