Grant’s eyes paused on me for a second.

“You’re going with him?”

Cole loosely slipped an arm around my waist.

“Come on. I’ll take you home.”

I nodded and left with him.

But as we were about to step into the elevator, Grant called out.

Cole looked back. “Yeah?”

Grant’s jaw tightened. “Come straight back after you drop her off. I need to talk to you.’

Cole didn’t think anything of it.
