I Crashed His Car, Then He Crashed My Life Chapter 06

I only felt that his whole body seemed soaked in night.

He spoke slowly, his drawn-out ending dangerous like a warning sign.

“Grace went to the bar to study?”

“That young guy was very close to you.”

“You refused to see me tonight because of him?”

“Does Grace like him?”

“The way he looked at you was really annoying.”

“Little liar.”

Cool fingertips gently brushed over my lips.

My head was too dizzy.

All I could see was that magnified handsome face.

I did not hear what he said at all.

I only wanted to kiss him.

So I decisively grabbed his collar and pulled him down.

The moment I finally pressed my lips to his, his hand on my waist tightened sharply.

Xavier’s uniquely low voice sounded close against me, carrying a trace of coldness.

“Grace Harper, who am I?”

Being interrupted annoyed me.

I answered perfunctorily, “Xavier.”

“Don’t talk. Open your mouth.”

I pushed him down onto the couch and kissed him left and right with absolutely no pattern.

When I felt something hard pressing into me, I slapped him irritably.

“Move your belt. It’s poking me.”

Xavier’s temple jumped.

He coaxed me softly, his tone ridiculously obedient.

“My fault. Don’t be mad.”

I hummed unhappily.

My phone suddenly rang.

It pulled me slightly out of my mushy-headed state.

I answered by instinct and, out of habit, clapped a hand over Xavier’s mouth.

The other end was silent for a moment.

Then a deep, pleasant voice came through.

“Grace, it’s Sebastian Shaw.”

I froze for a second.

“I’m sorry for contacting you so late. I just finished a meeting. Sienna said you drank and sent me the address. Are you still there? I’ll come pick you up.”

My brain crashed briefly.

The hand around my waist was still very restless.

It tickled so badly I almost broke character.

I forced myself to answer.

“Mr. Shaw, thank you, but I’m already home.”

I hung up in a fog.

Xavier immediately leaned closer, burying his face in my neck and rubbing against me.

His expression clearly did not look good.

“Grace, am I that unpresentable?”

“What’s so good about older guys?”

“Contacting you this late and saying he just finished a meeting. Excuses. Men always lead with excuses.

I blinked.

“Then what should they lead with?”

Xavier’s eyes darkened.

Still dizzy, I added, “Honesty, for example. Like whether they’re still untouched.”

Xavier said,

Something dark and unreadable flashed through his eyes.

The next second, he lowered his head and bit lightly at my neck in revenge.

“So bad.”
