His ‘Love Coach’ Planned Every Step of Our Relationship, She Also Planned Its End Chapter 06

“Have you no shame?” Darcy spat, tugging at Logan’s arm as she did her absolute best to stir the pot. “Hooking up with another guy right in front of Logan on your five-year anniversary? I told Logan ages ago that a girl like you wasn’t worth it.”

His loyal pack of bros chimed in right on cue behind her.

“Seriously, Logan, forget about this bitch. Darcy worked herself to the bone being your relationship coach, but this chick just couldn’t handle her presence and had to throw a massive tantrum.”

Piecing together the narrative from their loud accusations, the surrounding diners assumed Felix and I were the ones cheating.

Within seconds, a barrage of nasty insults erupted around us.

“How do those two sluts even have the nerve to show their faces here?”

“They look perfectly respectable, but how can they do something so disgusting behind his back?”

The insults grew viler by the second, but Logan, the true architect of this disaster, stood completely detached from it all.

He knew perfectly well that he was the one who had strayed first, yet he stood by with a cold gaze, letting the farce play out. He was trying to weaponize the crowd’s judgment to force me back into his arms.

My eyes drifted between the matching marks blooming across his and Darcy’s necks, a familiar, agonizing pain tightening its grip on my heart.

Five years ago, I would have rather died than believe Logan and I could ever degrade to something this humiliating.

Forcing a bitter smile, I spoke up, my voice cutting through the noise like ice.

“What a crazy coincidence that you both happen to have hickeys on your necks. Does the relationship coach train her clients in making out too? Tell me, how long did you two have to practice behind my back to leave matching marks like those?”

The moment the words left my mouth, the room fell dead silent.

Every eye in the restaurant locked onto the hickeys patterns on Darcy and Logan’s necks. A man and a woman, sporting fresh hickeys of the exact same intensity—it didn’t take a genius to connect the dots.

Instantly, the crowd flipped the script, turning their fury away from me and straight onto them.

“Turns out they were messing around behind the poor girl’s back the whole time.”

“No wonder she dumped his ass.”

“Disgusting scumbags. They played us like fools, subtle hints to get us to insult that poor girl.”

Logan’s face turned an incredibly dark shade of purple under the weight of their jeers.

I thought he would have the decency to back off after being exposed like that, but Logan remained anchored to the floor, aggressively blocking my exit.

“I don’t buy it,” he growled, a flicker of desperate denial in his eyes. “You loved me too much to ever throw your life away on another man.”

He lunged forward, violently yanking my arm toward him with enough force to send a sharp sting of pain shooting through my wrist. I yanked my arm back with everything I had, but his grip refused to break.

In that split second of complete vulnerability, Felix stepped in, forcefully slapping Logan’s hand away.

“Ah, the classic ‘coach-turns-girlfriend’ play,” Felix mocked, his smile dripping with arrogance. “You seem pretty familiar with that playbook, don’t you? Who says she’s the only one allowed to have a little fun with her coach?”

Every single word sliced right through Logan’s armor, hitting his dirty little secrets dead-on. Suffocating with rage, Logan pointed a trembling finger at Felix’s face, completely stripped of coherent speech.

In the end, he could only hurl one final, pathetic threat at me.

“Since you insist on acting like a spoiled brat and making things this ugly, don’t crawl back crying when you regret it.”

With that, he turned on his heel and stormed out, completely abandoning Darcy, who was still waiting for her grand confession.

Seeing Logan driven away in a fit of rage because of me, Darcy shot me a thoroughly venomous, resentful glare. I knew exactly why she was livid—I had entirely sabotaged her masterpiece. She had spent months meticulously planning this, finally wearing Logan down until he agreed to stage a grand confession on our five-year anniversary.

She had even deliberately booked the exact high-end restaurant where Logan and I always celebrated.

She had spent ages dreaming about this golden opportunity to make me miserable, never expecting her little charade would crumble the moment Felix walked through the door.

Too bad for her. She hadn’t managed to lay a scratch on me tonight, and I would make sure she never got the chance again.
