I glanced at Scarlett in the gallery and smiled.

“Ask your assistant. She knows exactly who died.”

Ethan whipped around. His eyes pinned Scarlett.

“Mr. Vance, Claire hired a lookalike! This is a trick to scare you in court!”

My sister held up her ID and passport.

“Claire! If she’s alive, what game are you playing?”

I laughed coldly.

Ethan screamed.

“Then why did you go to court? Why did you sue Scarlett?”

I shrugged.

“Because I have a conscience.”

Ethan’s finger jabbed at me.

“You set me up. You set all of this up. You made me think your sister was dead, took my money, and dragged me into court!”

My expression went hard.

“Ethan. Check your bank records.”

He fumbled for his phone, hands trembling.
