He Killed Me, Now I’ll Watch My Sister Ruin Him Chapter 07

He yanked me aside and lowered his voice.

“Meredith, you don’t have to do this just to spite me. He’s an outsider. I’m the one who will inherit the Romano family.”

“If you agree to my offer from before, I promise I’ll spend the entire second half of the night with you. I won’t let you down in the future, either.”

I shook his hand off me.

“Is there something wrong with your brain? Is that why you can say things like that? Stay away from me. You’re holding up my wedding.”

Dante’s face turned livid.

“Fine. The day I take over the Romano family, I’ll make you and him both pay.”

I looked at him and smiled.

“You should worry about whether you’ll make it through the night first.”

Out of sympathy for Mrs. Romano, I offered one last warning.

“Mrs. Romano, you’re still young. If you and Mr. Romano are willing, you could have another child.”

“Next time you choose a wife for your son, be sure to look more closely.”

After I spoke, I gave Dante one last look.
