He Deleted My Number After 972 Messages of Love Chapter 27

Chloe left for an overseas boarding school completely out of the blue.

I never realized how much that whole public apology on the intercom had messed her up. She couldn’t stand being humiliated like that.

It hadn’t even been that long, and most people had already moved on—but Chloe couldn’t let it go.

She grew increasingly sensitive, constantly convinced people were talking about her behind her back.

One day, an anonymous post appeared on our school’s confession account. The person claimed a girl in their class was disgusting for spreading rumors about other people.

Chloe snapped. She grabbed her phone and shouted across the classroom, “Who posted this?!”

Everyone stared at her, confused.

“The post says they’re from a sophomore class, right? We’re seniors…”

“Chloe, what’s wrong with you?”

It hit her what she’d just done. She burst into tears, ran out of the classroom, and never came back. Her parents came to collect her things later.

The next I heard about her was when a classmate saw her on social media. Her location was tagged at some private school abroad, with a selfie.

[Everyone here is so much nicer. Guess some places really do have it all figured out.]
