Four Dads Spoiled Then Abandoned Me Chapter 01

Four Dads Spoiled Then Abandoned Me Chapter 01

Mom was a Romance Strategist.

She completed her mission and left this world, leaving me with four guardians.

Kael Voss was a billionaire CEO.

Jude Cole was a householdname movie star.

Elias Reed was a brilliant doctor.

Silas Hale held immense power.

They spoiled me for sixteen years. I wanted for nothing.

Three years ago, they brought back Elara Moore—the daughter of their first love.

From that day on, they only believed her, not me.

She told them I called her filth and said I didn’t deserve to live in the house.

So, they forced me to live in harsh conditions and treated me cruelly.

She said I led students to bully her at school.

So, they kept me from school and let me suffer endless cruel treatment at home.

After Elara claimed I pushed her again, they locked me away alone for days as punishment, leaving me with nothing to eat or drink.

I was starving to death when I heard Mom’s voice.

“Lila,” it whispered, “do you want to come to me?”

I jolted awake.

It wasn’t Mom. It was the system.

It said Mom had left me a chance before she left. I could go to her world if I wished.

Of course I wanted to.

But I held the words back.

“Will it be better than now?” I asked. “If she loved me, why didn’t she take me with her?”

The system explained gently.

Mom had taken the mission because her mother was gravely ill.

She’d only been a college sophomore in her world, broke and in debt.

The four men had promised to raise me as their own, regardless of where I came from.

All they asked was that she leave them a piece of her.

She hadn’t wanted me to suffer with her. So she left me behind.

“Lila,” the system said, soft as a touch, “your mom has waited for you all these years. She never dated or married. She bought a small apartment and waited. Do you want to go to her?”

I nodded.

The system sighed in relief.

All I had to do was die in this body, and I’d be with her.

I gave up completely and wanted to end all my pain once and for all.

The kennel was big enough.

I was small enough.

I was ready to leave this painful world behind.

My vision blurred, but I smiled.

I’d see Mom soon.

Then someone shouted my name.

The kennel door flew open. I was pulled free.

I gasped for air and looked up into panicked eyes.

“Dad,” I whispered before I could stop myself.

I regretted it at once.

At the word, the panic in Kael Voss’s eyes turned to disgust.

“Don’t call me that,” he snapped. “Don’t speak to me in that way.”

He was the CEO guardian.

Once, he’d loved me most.

Everyone thought he was my real father. We had the same eyes.

I’d lived in his estate. He’d given me anything I asked for.

He’d said he’d pluck the stars from the sky if I wanted them.

But that love ended three years ago.

He brought Elara home from overseas.

That was when I learned the four men had once loved another woman.

That woman had betrayed them for money and fled abroad.

Mom had come and saved them from the pain.

Years later, the woman was dying.

She called Kael, apologized, and begged him to take Elara in.

They told me Elara was younger and asked me to be kind.

I tried to treat her like a sister.

But Elara wanted all their love for herself.

Injures appeared on her body out of nowhere. She said I’d hurt her.

She fell down stairs and claimed I pushed her.

The more lies she told, the more they turned against me.

Then Elara was attacked by a group of thugs in an alley.

When they were caught, they said I’d ordered it.

I had no way to prove my innocence.

From that day, I was a criminal in my own home.

They forbade me from calling them Dad, and I moved from my princess bedroom to a backyard kennel.

The staff called me a monster.

Beatings and hunger became my daily life.

I bowed my head quickly. “I’m sorry, Mr. Voss.”

He still wouldn’t let it go. “Lila Reed, what were you doing? Trying to kill yourself for attention?”

“You’re just putting on a meaningless show to get attention.”

He thought I was acting.

I didn’t argue. I only asked, “Why are you here, Mr. Voss? You hate messes.”

His face darkened.

“This is my house. I go where I want. I came to warn you—today is Elara’s birthday. Don’t cause trouble. And don’t you dare die here.”

I nodded obediently.

He’d only saved me so I wouldn’t ruin Elara’s day.I’d just die somewhere else.
