Breeder For The Morozov Alpha Brothers Chapter 05

Breeder For The Morozov Alpha Brothers Chapter 05

DOM MOROZOV.

Cursed to have one mate I’d share with my younger brothers forever.

Stripped of my wolf ten years ago.

Add being mate-less to the mix and I’d be considered the most useless alpha to ever roam the realm.

I’ve lived in hiding. In shame, marinating in eternal anger.

Domenico Morozov was once a legend. Now he’s but a bird caged in his ivory castle.

I’ve been okay with it.

Wolf or no wolf, Alphas are taught to endure.

Except today.

Except when the five foot two brunette with the curvy hips entered my lair, touched my books and left her fucking scent too damp in the air.

I approached her. Trapped her.

I questioned her. She lied.

I asked what she was. She fainted.

Her small body falls in my arms.

I haven’t touched a woman in two years.

My brothers know that.

Every woman they’ve brought, I have killed.

And this one is no better because my brother is looking at me the way he does when I’m about to lose control.

“Dom, don’t do anything crazy. Just hand her over”, Echo’s voice hardens.

I wrap an arm around her waist, carry her in my arms while breathing in that scent that is in her deep caramel hair.

“What is she?”

“Omega. No wolf. Found her in Xanthus’ territory.”

Still holding the woman in my arms, I look at Echo.

“Is Xanthus dead?”

“No but he will be. Give it a few days.”

Something’s off.

I know it is because Echo has been looking at the brunette longer than he has with any woman we’ve all fucked.

“Let me get this straight, you went to Xanthus’ place, left the imbecile alive and now there’s a woman roaming around my library. Fuck’s sake Echo, I’d expect that shit from Nikolai, he’s the one hung up on pussy but you-.”

“We all had a connection with her.”

My ears prick.

My jaw hard.

That’s impossible.

The only person they’d have a connection with is our mate and she died or was killed before we got to her. Before I got to her.

Before we even learned her name, her face, her wolf.

“Impossible.”

“I thought that too but trust me when I say she’s different. I’m not saying she’s our mate, Dom but she smells like it, feels like it-.”

“Feels like it?”

I don’t feel shit with the chick in my arms other than she weighs like a feather.

“Riot kissed her. Nikolai wanted to fuck her the minute he felt her ass.”

Fuck.

“Of course they did. And you, little brother?”

“I want her to continue our legacy. She doesn’t have to be our mate, we can-.”

“Put pups in her?”

She’d never be able to handle five of us.

No one has.

“That’s the idea.”

“She called herself Luna; she agrees to this?”

“She said yes.”

And judging by the look on his face, the insanity in Nikolai’s head, the impatience from Vuk and the recklessness from Riot; that’s a codeword for they uprooted a woman from her life like savages and claimed her.

My younger brother stands in the room, his deep, imploring eyes decrypting my face.

I gaze at the little thing that has her cheek against my broad chest not knowing she’s leaning against the biggest monster she’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting.

“I’m keeping her in my room till we sort out this shit. Tell that to our brothers.”

“They are not gonna like that, Dom. Like I said they all felt a connection, it’s only natural they are possessive of her.”

“The mission was to end Xanthus; you brought me her instead. The only fair thing right now is for me to have my turn with her.”

“Dom?”

“What?”

“Don’t kill her. She might be the one.”

She’s not the one.

Not when I found her looking around for books that had fake methods of killing an alpha.

“Get the fuck out, Echo.”

He shakes his head, chuckles before his eyes land on the woman in my arms. Then he turns around and leaves.

XxX

“It’s fate delivered to you by the Goddess herself, Domenico”, Esme suggests.

“I stopped believing in the Goddess a long time ago.”

“You doubt my sister’s words? Of all the rooms she could have found, she found yours. She found you”, Esma chimes in.

“She got lost, there’s a difference.”

Esme and Esma remain quiet and if there’s anything I know about the two old blind ladies is that they think louder when they are quiet.

“What?”

“You have not killed her yet, Alpha. Any woman who has come close to touching you, you have killed. Whether intentionally or accidentally.”

“You think I won’t kill her too?”

I want to stop this nonsense.

“We think something is stopping you from doing so. Do you perhaps feel her, Alpha? Can you sense her, smell, taste, touch? We know you haven’t been able to experience that for a decade but is it possible that-.”

I can smell her.

A decade later, without being able to smell a beta, omega or an alpha from afar and I can smell the one sleeping in my bed.

“Get out. Leave the food.”

“Of course, Alpha.”

“Go easy on her, Domenico.”

Once the ladies get out of my room, I take a seat in the chair that’s opposite my bed, nestled in the darkness.

She looks like light against the dark, a pretty thing in a bed covered with darkness, delicate porcelain against thunder itself.

It takes a good fifteen minutes for her to wake up, panic about her surroundings and make an attempt to get from the bed.

I stop her before she can do so.

“Stay on the bed.”

“W-Who’s…there?”

She looks right at me but she can’t see me not with half of the darkness in the room covering me.

She has blue eyes. Sparkling, angelic, blue eyes.

“The food near the nightstand, take it and eat.”

“I-I-I’m not hungry.”

“I never asked, solnyshko. Eat your food.”

“I l-l-lied.”

“About?”

“In the library…I lied, I’m not a Luna. I think we have some sort of misunderstanding. I wasn’t stealing your books or anything.”

She speaks just like she looks despite the stuttering in her voice. She’s scared? She should be.

Riot kissed those lips of hers? How did they taste?

“You think I care about the books?”

“I-Isn’t that why you…you cornered me?”

“No.”

I cornered you because you smell so bad and so good at the same time, it’s hard not to notice it.

“Ooh. I’m going t-to leave then.”

“Eat your food first.”

She stares in my direction again trying to find me in the darkness. A second later, she picks up the tray of food from my nightstand, her hands trembling as she sits down ready to eat.

I watch her.

Aside from that nagging scent and those sky-blue eyes, there’s nothing special about her.

“You are Dom, right? And… you’re an Alpha too?”

Her whisper is audible.

I shouldn’t answer her. I shouldn’t entertain her.

“You think I’m an Alpha?”

“Y-You s-sound like one. And y…your wolf is kinda starting to freak me out a bit.”

I still.

She’s playing mind games.

“What wolf?”

I haven’t seen or talked to Negan, my wolf in ten years.

“T-the one standing near you…like a…like a ghost?”

Motherfucker.
