Breeder For The Morozov Alpha Brothers Chapter 04

Breeder For The Morozov Alpha Brothers Chapter 04

LAIKYN GARCIA.

Echo Morozov drugged me.

That should explain the sting that bites my skull when I open my eyes on a bed that feels like a cloud weaved by the Goddess herself.

I don’t remember anything apart from the Jade fiasco, the threats, the scared people, the four monsters… it all comes as a blur.

“Esme, she’s awake.”

Someone speaks and whatever sleep I had disappears as I sit straight holding the covers to my face.

“Do not be afraid of us, dear. We are not here to harm. We wouldn’t dare harm our Luna.”

The wisest thing to do is correct them, shout so everyone hears I’m not their Luna but how do I shout at two blind women standing at the edge of my bed with warm smiles on their faces?

Goddess, they look like twins and that’s even more mortifying.

“I’m Esma and this is my sister, Esme. You must be scared waking up in a new environment with two blind ladies cornering you like this.

We apologize for that. We are only… astounded that they found you.”

“I’m not their mate”, I speak out loud.

Esma grins, “No one would want to be their mate given the way they are but trust me, dearie, you are special.”

“If special means them taking me because I can carry their pups, then yes, I must be special to them”, I say sarcastically.

Esme is the one to chuckle this time around.

“Of course, they would say that. Carrying their pups is equivalent to being their mate, Laikyn. None of this will be easy but we are here to help you in whatever way you need. We’ll start with breakfast, you must be hungr-.”

“I’d like to be alone, please.”

I expect them to put up a fight, defend their masters or whatever titles they give the Alphas who own all these.

To my surprise, they smile and then they walk to the door, closing it behind them.

I shove the covers away. I’m still wearing Echo’s shirt and all I want to do is rip it off of me.

Making my way to the window, I glance outside.

It’s not just a mansion.

Mansions aren’t huge and old with the spirit of the devils lurking in them. The castle I’m in sits on a large piece of land with huge gardens surrounding it, a lot of men guarding it and, in the distance, I spot an entire village with buildings as high as the skies.

That must be where the pack resides.

I tear my gaze away from the window going for the door.

I can’t run away, I’m not stupid but if killing those sons of a gun is my mission then I have to find a library.

Find knowledge to test whether what I know can really kill them or not.

The hallways are empty, thank the Goddess.

That doesn’t stop me from hiding between pillars every now and then as I try to open the locked rooms one by one.

Five rooms later and I’m exhausted.

Locked doors, hushed voices from downstairs and nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

The courage and hope I had when I told Jade I could do this slowly dwindle as I spot another flight of spiral stairs leading up.

Is there another floor of this mansion?

Or unless the stairs lead up to the attic?

Regardless, I go for the stairs.

My fingers brush past the metallic railing as I make feeble steps up the stairs.

By the time I reach the end of the stairs, the smell of books assaults my nostrils and I grin with tears in my eyes.

Finding the library feels like a victory but nothing prepares me for the huge bookshelves that ascend to the roof of the large room, the charts that have all the lands of the realm drawn on them, the small study table that has all sorts of books on the desk, the ladders that have wheels underneath in case anyone wants to move around searching for a particular book.

I greedily get lost between the shelves, my fingers brushing past the rough hard covers of books and scrolls.

They have scrolls? Back at home only the elders keep the ancient scrolls.

My finger stops at one of the books.

‘How to Kill an Alpha.’

Then another.

‘The subtle ways to choke an Alpha.’

‘Death by Silver.’

Holy freaking… they have everything. Every information I could need to end them in a day.

Goddess, it might actually be like taking candy from a pup. Or four pups?

My excitement dies down the minute the hairs on the back of my neck prickle and my heart twists inside my ribcage, and by the time the danger comes to me all the air in my lungs is taken away.

“What are you?”

There’s nothing gentle about the voice behind me.

I make the move to turn around but strong arms reach for the shelves in front of me and cage me from moving.

His body eats mine completely, his height so intimidating he has to lean in to speak to me.

I know two things.

One, it’s not one of the brothers. Why? Because they’d recognize me seeing as to how they brought me here. This man doesn’t know me.

Two, I’m in trouble and the guy standing behind me more or less sounds like an Alpha which is impossible because the only alphas that exist here are the Morozov quadruplets.

“I got lost looking for the bathroom and found myself here. If you’ll excuse me-.”

“You reek of that sweet shit. What are you?” He asks again.

Think, Lake. Think.

I lie. I improvise.

“Who are you? What gives you the right to corner your future Luna like she’s some thief in her own library? If my mates, your Alphas were to hear of this, they would-.”

“Kill me?” he asks and sweet Goddess do I sweat buckets at the mockery in his tone.

“Yes. Precisely. They would kill you.”

“Like you are trying to kill them?”

“I have no idea what you are talking about.”

“How to Murder an Alpha in seven days. Ways not to go wrong when killing an Alpha. Weapons to kill an Alpha”, he reads the books in my hands one by one and my nerves thrash in disarray.

I’m about to make some nonsense about me being a lover of murder books when his thighs push me even harder against the shelves. His jeans slightly rising the shirt that barely reaches my thighs and exposes my ass.

I drop my books and my courage.

Fear drips inside me like the rain hitting the earth.

Drip.

His breath falls on my neck.

Drip.

He growls again, ‘What are you?’

I don’t even know what my name is right now from the fear.

The fear, the loss of breath, the hunger pang in my stomach, it all twists into one and takes charge over my body.

By the time I black out, I hear someone from the other side of the room say in warning, “Let her go, Dom.”

Dom? W-who is Dom?
