As a Sensitive, I Saw Another Woman in My Wolf Mate’s Heart Chapter 10

As a Sensitive, I Saw Another Woman in My Wolf Mate’s Heart Chapter 10

One year later, my personal design exhibition opened.

Its name was “Seven.”

The pieces were inspired by a child’s point of view.

The curator said they were gentle, but powerful.

A magazine came to interview me and asked about the meaning behind all those hand-holding motifs.

“There’s no special meaning. It’s wonderful when people can hold hands, but if they can’t, then you walk on your own.”

After the interview came out, Nova told me Silas bought the magazine and put it by his bedside.

On the side where I used to sleep.

Half of his closet was empty.

His clothes were all squeezed into the other half, and he would not place anything on my side.

His Beta said he often sat in the office staring blankly at the computer.

The screen showed a photo of the two of us.

I asked Nova, “How do you know so much?”

“Ethan Hale told me. His brothers are worried sick. They said he became a different person this year.”

“That’s his business.”

In November, I went to see Sycamore Avenue.

Leaves covered the ground, making soft, brittle sounds underfoot.

As I walked, I saw someone standing beneath a tree ahead.

A gray coat.

The one I bought him five years ago.

The cuffs were worn and frayed, loose threads hanging out, but he had not replaced it.

He saw me too.

He froze, then took two steps toward me, opening his mouth as if to call my name.

I turned around and walked the other way.

After walking far away, I looked back.

He was still standing beneath that sycamore tree.

Alone, hands tucked into the pockets of his coat, looking in my direction.

I turned forward and kept walking.

I did not stop.

On the first day of the exhibition, a staff member told me that after closing, a gentleman stood for more than an hour in front of the necklace in the center of the gallery.

I checked the surveillance.

It was him.

He stood in front of the necklace called “First Meeting” with his head lowered.

The gallery spotlight fell on the necklace.

He stood outside the circle of light.

Later, the staff said he bought a necklace in the same style and asked whether it could be engraved.

“He said to engrave ‘I’m sorry.'”

“Ignore him.”

Nova said he had not found anyone else this year.

After Lyra was banished, she tried to see him several times. He avoided her every time.

He no longer went to gatherings with friends either.

On weekends, he locked himself in the Den.

His mother became so anxious that she contacted Nova and asked if she could persuade me.

“What did you say?”

“I said I couldn’t.”

When I heard that, I was drawing next season’s designs.

My pen paused on the paper.

Then I continued drawing.

This time, I drew a pair of earrings.

I named them ‘Morning Light.’
