The Scorned Princess’s Silent Vengeance Chapter 07

With that, I handed over the printed documents.

“Mom and Dad have publicly cut all ties with Camila.”

“Nightfang Pack saw that Camila had no more value, so they canceled the engagement.

“Guess what will happen to a princess who once had everything but now has nothing?”

Ezra suddenly stood up, his face twisted with rage.

“Riley, you wouldn’t dare!”

“Why wouldn’t I?”

I handed him another document and smiled.

“There’s one more thing. Mom and Dad have already announced that I’m the new heir of

Ravenshire.”

“They’ll officially transfer all the shares to me at the banquet.”

“As for you, you’ll only receive five hundred thousand in living expenses from the trust every

month.”

Ezra had long been used to an alpha’s extravagant lifestyle. Five hundred thousand wouldn’t even buy him a decent suit. It was a calculated humiliation.

Looking at Ezra’s furious expression, I stood up and sneered.

“Ezra, if you know what’s good for you, then after you’re released on bail, keep your head down and

behave.”

“Maybe if I’m in a good mood, I’ll even make sure you don’t starve.”

I threw his own words back at him.

Ezra slammed his fist against the glass in anger, but the guards behind him quickly restrained him.

I waved my hand casually.

“You’d better behave. After all, Mom and Dad can’t get another forgiveness statement out of me.’

After dealing with Ezra’s matter, I rushed back to my classes.

Although I had been imprisoned for five years, I hadn’t forgotten what I had learned before. I was

just unfamiliar with managing a pack, so I found an elder to review alpha training courses.

After class, I had just walked out of the room when I saw Vincent and Agnes waiting outside.

Ever since I signed the forgiveness statement, they’d been coming by often, hoping to mend things

and bring me home.

Agnes stood in front of me and spoke softly.

“Riley, come home and live with us.”

“I promise – Ezra won’t do anything to you anymore.”

Vincent nodded.

“Your inheritance banquet is in a few days.”

“It’ll be held at home. You should come back and get familiar with everything.”

“Fine.” I sighed. “I’ll go home.”

Vincent and Agnes looked like they wanted to say something, but in the end, they stayed silent.

I returned to the estate I had been away from for five years. Everything felt both unfamiliar and

strangely familiar.

Ezra, as if struck by a sudden conscience, began treating me with the care of a real brother.

Even when I mentioned that Camila had chosen to become a beta’s mistress for a wealthy life, Ezra

remained unusually calm.

“That was her own choice. No one else is to blame.”

In the blink of an eye, the day of the banquet arrived.

Many werewolves came to congratulate me on becoming the new heir.

Even when they saw Ezra, everyone silently avoided mentioning the kidnapping.

Just as I turned to find Agnes, a server accidentally spilled wine across my dress.

Agnes hurriedly helped wipe the wine from my clothes and couldn’t help scolding the server.

“How did the butler train you? You can’t even handle something as simple as serving drinks?”

Seeing the server repeatedly apologize, I patted Agnes’s hand.

“It’s fine, Mom. I’ll go change-there’s still time.”

With that, I went upstairs.

The moment I pushed open my door, I found Camila standing there-someone I hadn’t seen in a long time.

“Camila, what are you doing here?”

The moment I finished speaking, I felt a knife pressed against my back.

“Shut up!”

I turned around and saw Ezra standing behind me, madness flashing in his eyes.

“Riley, you’d better stay quiet.” Ezra threatened me. “Otherwise, I won’t hold back.”

Hearing that, I sneered.

“Ezra, you really haven’t changed at all.”

“What? Pretending to be a good brother no longer works, so now you’re going to use force?”

“Don’t forget you’re still on bail.”

Ezra became even more furious, and the hand holding the knife pushed forward slightly.

“You have the nerve to talk? Why did you have to come back?”

“If you’d stayed gone, everything would still be the way it was.”

“Our family would have been fine, and Camila wouldn’t have suffered so much.”

Camila rushed forward as well, staring at me with hatred.

“If it weren’t for you, why would I have been forced to sleep with an old man forty years older than

me?”

“I should never have let Ezra only sell you away. I should have made sure you died there!”

Her ridiculous words made me laugh.

“Isn’t it your dear brother who arranged for you to become that old man’s lover?”

“If he hadn’t done that, why would that old man have been willing to give you money and people to help get rid of me?”

“But guess what? Why was an Omega willing to take such a huge risk?”

Seeing

calmly reveal everything, Ezra and Camila’s expressions changed drastically.
